Write a ReviewI contacted Stay Dry in connection with water infiltrating our garage. They reacted quickly to my request, did what looks like excellent work, cleaned up extremely well and were generally great to deal with. However, I am a complete novice at this kind of repair. After their initial visit, with half the work done, the estimate increased by 50%, even though the ;additional work had already been identified and, calculating after the fact, the effective hourly rate charged was outrageous. I had a conversation with the owner, who declined to adjust the price, but has offered to install a battery back-up system for our basement sump pump. Conclusion - first class work, but caveat emptor; - ;let the buyer beware
Its unfortunate that we received such a low review . Customer agreed on a price on some additional work required on their home (no way to see the additional work until the project started). A few weeks later the owner calls wanting some of the money back because they felt the price wasnt fair. He did state several times that the work was amazing, and he couldnt be any happier. Just to try and help keep the customer happy I had my production manager install a $1,460.00 high tech battery back up system. I guess that wasnt good enough. Disappointed to receive the poor review
Stay Dry Waterproofing did some crawlspace work for me. Some interior walls were separating from the ceiling, due to a soil expansion problem, so they installed foundation support beams which fixed the problem. They also cleaned/fumigated the crawlspace because they found some fungus/mold. Lastly they installed an interior perimeter drain system that they connected to the existing water pump basin. I am absolutely satisfied with all the work. The crew did a great job! I spoke to the crew lead a couple times during the project, and he took the time to explain, in detail, everything they were doing and how it was going. He was very informative. It made me confident they were on top of things. Mark Menton (Company President) did the initial inspection which led to work being done. He took photos to show his findings and went over everything in detail and provided me with different options to solve the issues. He was easy to work with and a true professional. After we agreed on the best approach to address the problems he provided an itemized cost list for the project. The cost was very reasonable and very competitive to other estimates I had done. I went with Stay Dry Waterproofing because of their high ratings on their reviews and Mark'professionalism. I am glad I did. I highly recommend them.
Thanks so much for the wonderful review! :-)
They were absolutely awesome. They were so clean you would not realize all of the work they did. The foreman, Nate, explained everything that was happening and showed me the progress as they went along. The project was finished when promised. I cannot imagine being more satisfied.
Would highly recommend this company for any mold removal and waterproofing. Friendly, reasonable to work with. They return phone calls and do what they say they are going to do, and show up when they say they will arrive. Very positive experience.
Showed up on time. Worked like maniacs, I would never have guessed that much heavy hard work could be done in only two days. The crew was very professional, polite and considerate. Left the basement looking as clean as it was when they got there.
Expensive and crew began work while I was talking through the contract. Tried to require more of the money upfront than noted in the contract. When asked about financing, required that I also allow them to do the drainage system replacement. Can be fairly aggressive in sales tactics and slow to follow-up with itemized paperwork.
I thought that StayDry Waterproofing did an excellent job of both removing the mold in my home but also guaranteed that the mold would not return. The only thing I had to do yet was to paint over the prior infected area and replace some of the insulation in the attic area. I would highly recommend!!!
kind of expensive. But needed it done. Might had it done cheaper but no time to look around. Got quick response. Worker guy that was the head seemed very nice and knew what he was doing. Cleaned up after themselves. wore covers over their shoes...which was really great. came on time. It was a low attic and full of stuff. Not an easy job.
Thank you for being a valued customer. If you ever have any questions please contact us at any time.
