Write a ReviewVery prompt and curteous
Good price, prompt service, nice guys, even cleaned up after themselves
Crew showed up on time. Clean up could have been a little more detail oriented and the crew was not as professional as what I would expect. Eric, the owner, was very professional. Cost was a little more than I wanted to spend, but the quality of the blown in garage insulation was better than other companies (dense packed). Overall I was satisfied.
Great experience.
Very Professional. I would highly recommend them.
Extremely professional, kept us informed from start to finish. Able to work with my schedule to complete work. Highly recommend
I cannot recommend Front Range Installers higher, this is the experience you are supposed to have hiring someone. Andrew did a great job estimating, was on time, courteous and even offered me a discount if I took an open time slot that week on his team schedule, which I did. The team showed up when they said they would, very quick and cleaned up everything. Would not have known they were there. Price was great as well. Five stars all around.
The measure of a company is how they handle their mistakes. Had nothing gone wrong, I would be giving them 4 stars. They communicated clearly, arrived on time, and cleaned up after themselves. However, from the beginning, things were a little wonky. Cliff arrived to give an estimate and immediately said he was an office person filling in for Eric. He did not know how to bid my garage roof / bedroom floor (we have bedrooms above the garage), had to call Eric, and gave me a range of $1200-$2300 for the garage. When I agreed to hire them, he locked the price in at $1200. The crew arrived a week later and things were going really well until I noticed pink insulation blowing into my house through the cold-air return in the bedroom. They immediately had me make sure the furnace was turned off ( which I really appreciate), but then investigated and told me cold-air return was NOT a cold-air return. I was skeptical and called Eric to ask if they could recommend someone to scope my ducts with a camera and confirm. He said he didn't know anyone and suggested I buy a camera and do it myself. So I called an HVAC professional, who came out and confirmed it IS a cold-air return, and the insulation needs to be sucked out before I can turn on my furnace again. I will be without heat for a week, with temperatures in the 20s all day today. On the plus side, the company agreed to pay for the third party cleanup. But I really think that should have owned their mistake and done the legwork to find someone who could evaluate and clean up the mess. Instead my husband and I both had to take hours off of work to research and assess the situation and find someone who could do the cleanup. I would not recommend Front Range Installers to my friends, and I would not hire them again.
Andrew Davy was very responsive, quite knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the process. Although communication errors kept the team from earning the highest rating, the work was done skillfully and efficiently. I highly recommend them.
