Just WOW! Amazing job done by Irwin and his team. Job went exactly as predicted by Irwin with no hiccups or problems. Most important of all to me was $0 (yes that's ZERO) cash paid until job was finished and to our liking! And we love it!!

I came from out of state to help my mom mitigate water damage from her leaking water heater which also had a pipe burst. There was major mold and water damage issues but Irwin and his crew from Diversified Remodeling/Repair were more than able to repair the damage to the bedroom and laundry room in a timely and professional manner. I thank God we chose the right company as we were very happy with the end results.

Stay away! Do not hire this company. I hired this company, based on HomeAdvisor reviews, to build a 13ft x 15ft garage and they were terrible from the start. The subs hired were terrible and all the work had to be redone when I tried to hold the company accountable to their proposal the owner told me he was tired of my lack of understanding and I got an e-mail stating he was walking off the job without finishing. Prior to accepting his proposal I spelled out exactly what I wanted and expected done, and he confirmed via e-mail that he would do all the work. He left $5,000 on the table but it has cost more to fix his problems. Examples: electrical wiring not done properly the light burned out and fixtures had to be replaced; he was to clear the area where the build was setup but refused; the sink he installed was not to specifications in his proposal; he framed a 6ft opening for a 9ft garage door and the garage door contractor had to do a work around to install the opener because he did not re frame correctly supports to attach the opener; broke my sprinkler system, left cement buildup on my driveway, he was to install 2 attic fans and only installed one when I called him on it he said he would credit $6 but he charged $100 each to install; windows were to match the existing windows on the main house, but he installed windows with white trim and not cream color; had to move the original entrance to the garage from East to South side because he did not properly estimate the grade where the door was to be originally installed; the garage floor was properly installed to allow for a lip to keep out rain water; the personnel door was not properly installed he left a gap at the bottom with the exposed shims he installed to try to level the door; the paint he used was the cheapest he could find and the entire garage has bled through and needs repainting. All the materials he used were the cheapest he could find and when I asked about the excess materials, he wanted to charge me an additional $600 to keep the material. Finally, he had a key to the door and when I asked for it back he said he threw it away because he did not know where it belonged, not much attention to detail here for a contractor who has been business for some time. As I stated when I started this review, stay away, his prices are inexpensive but the service and quality of work is cheap as well. Not sure how he got the 4-5 star reviews if want to be the project manager he is your guy, but make sure he and you understand each other. UPDATE 7/26/2019: This is follow up, I want to caution anyone considering using Diversified Remodeling for any type of work, if you want a professional job do not use this company. As I stated in my initial review the owner walked off the job before completion of the project, which was to build a garage. He walked off in January, which I believe now was a calculated move on his part, so he would not have to provide any warranty for his work. I am now stuck with having to repair the roof because he did not install the roof framing correctly. He did not properly install the wood material at the seams where the sheets of plywood meet. I am not an expert, but the wood has either warped or was not properly installed to keep the wood from coming loose. So now I need to hire a roofing company to fix the mess he installed. Again, I caution anyone considering this company for any work, I DO NOT recommend this company.

Response from Company:

There is a reason this company has 40 - 5 star reviews and two 1 star reviews. In both cases of the one star reviews the customer did not understand what was proposed and expected more than was on the proposal. The customer is always right except when their expectations are more than proposed. In this particular case the company spent over $5000 to please the customer but to no avail. Hence when it was deemed that there was no way to please this customer the job was ended leaving over $5000 still owed.this customer is obviously still upset and writing disinformation. Our company has built 70000 garages and 130000 Remodels and received 5 star
