The sales guy was great and not pushy but when I scheduled my appointment they called the day before to reschedule for the next day because they overbooked. The rescheduled time was for noon. No one showed up until right before 6p!! Absolutely horrible trying to get ahold of the installer and supervisors. It was a disaster. Luckily the installer who showed up was pleasant and got the job done in an hour but none of that shouldÂ’ve happened and I wouldnÂ’t recommend this company just for the scheduling reason

The installers seemed to more concerned with setting a speed record than treatment of customer property and proper installation of carpet .They tried to leave with 1/4" gaps in seems. DO NOT get value carpet and pad. Worst ever , Feels better walking on through rugs than this carpet in socking feet. Drag marks left on vinyl where furniture was pulled instead of lifted. Corner of arm rest was mashed and scuffed on leather sofa. When customer service called to check on satisfaction I relayed my issues. The rep graciously offered to sell me a higher priced product with installation at full price for both. On the plus side they were on time.

I called in and they sent a sales rep here by the name of Dan showed product cost i paid was 1,800 . No one showed up on there exact schedule date and time and had to remove everything out and had to live like that through the entire weekend with everything out of cabinets for my install. They took pictures once then came 4 times to take more pictures and pictures was taken of the fish tank back again took more pictures and then i got rescheduled for tuesday, i was told they can work around the fish tank, then they stated they cannot work around the fish tank. After me telling them numerous times they could work around the fish tank. The fish tank is to heavy for me to move the fish tank.After me waiting for them to come back no one ever showed up I had to speak with a supervisor and supervisor told me that he could not work around the fish tank. Had to put a stop payment on the 1,800 check. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use them. Every time i called they will never return my call & when they said they will call back or they were with a customer and never called me back, had to call them back to get some answers.

It was so nice to have the salesman come to our home with samples of the carpet we were interested in, rather than shopping in stores looking through hundreds of samples - so frustrating! Empire made it effortless - we just had to choose the color!

Found out late that most floors in my community were initially carpet installed. Contractors may be taking shortcuts in the smoothing and leveling of initial floors. Converting to wood may require additional cost of "floating" floors to insure proper leveling of floors for wood/laminate. This additional potential cost ($2100 in my case) comes as a shock to the senses and the bank account. Flooring representatives should consider mentioning this to customers.

We set an important specific date and time for the intall, Empire had to push back ten days, due to product availability. Which unfortunately set back my move-in date, and cost me $2000.00 more in fees for my apartment and moving company. I believed when I decided to purchase from Empire that I would be protected from project set-backs. I learned my lesson.
