Reviews
Write a ReviewJES changed the date of our installation and it took me 3 calls to confirm the new date. I could not get them to confirm the time that the work would begin, they just said it would be all day. The crew showed up at 10:30 AM. They were very nice. JES never informed me that I would need to get a new sink for my washer and that they would not put back the washer and dryer after they completed installing the sump pump. I now have to go get a new sink and find someone to remove the old one as well as reconnect my washer and dryer. Had I known that I needed to do these things, I would have planned accordingly. I only smiled when one of the workmen told me that I would have an easier time removing the old sink if I broke it in to pieces with a sledge hammer. I don't own a sledge hammer. I have confidence that the sump pump was properly installed, I'm not at all pleased with the mess I need to resolve now that it is in place.
Haven't had the work done yet just met with a rep. Job to be done Dec. 10, 2003. check back for rating.
originally scheduled for august 27, completed in mid-october. signed the contract in july, completed in october. delayed repairs delayed completion of house renovation.
I was very pleased with the way the job was completed. Thank-you
JES did a fantastic job and I would surely recommend them.
The rep that visited us was very professional and apparently very honest as he said that the crack in the foundation was nothing to be alarmed about and therefore, no work was necessary.
We are first time home owners with no clue about anything to do with home repairs. When we had a flooded basement we panicked and called several companies. While other companies used all kinds of tricks to scare us, give us high estimates and then a discount etc., we had the best experience with JES Basement systems. The sales associate Rich Thomas was a really nice guy who explained to us all our options without using any kind of pressure tactics. We signed a contract and later had to cancel it due to personal reasons. Even after that the office staff Susan Harris was really pleasant and agreed to refund our deposit without any hassle. It was definitely a refreshing experience to deal with such pleasant and helpful staff through out the company which is a rare thing these days when most companies are out to just get your money. This is definitely an indication of the good character and integrity of the company, its owner, and its staff. I would recommend this company to anyone who ever needs to deal with wet basement or foundation issues.
