    I would like to receive a full refund of the payment made for your service since I was required to consult with a different electric company familiar with installing this type of equipment and finished the job myself. I also asked for an estimate for installation of lights in my kitchen. Ultimately, I found out I was given an estimate for twice the cost of the light installation by a more reputable company. When inquiring about the cost of replacing ballasts in the original light fixtures if i chose to have those replaced rather than installing new fixtures. Again, I was given a quote for twice the cost of other reputable company, which has been in business for years and has excellent reviews. I am the sole caretaker of my 94-year-old mother and was completely taken advantage of by Mr Sparky. Please refund check you cashed immediately upon receipt for incomplete work project. Contact me upon receipt of this communication.

    I live out of state and requested an estimate for a home I own in S. Florida. As part of the estimate, I was told the job would require a permit and asked if I would be interested in their finance program should I hire them. They obtained personal information to run a credit check. Without authorization to do the work or to obtain financing, I was informed the next afternoon that their guys had shut off the power and removed an old exterior electric panel, and were performing other work inside and out. I received an email invoice the next day outlining the cost of $10,300.00 and that it was paid via a finance company that I had no knowledge about. An unauthorized signature was shown on the completed work order for Mr. Sparky to be paid in full. I contacted the company to ask why they did the work and applied for financing without my consent. Crickets. I was also informed that the job was not completed and they would have to return with the parts needed to complete. I contacted the finance company and was told that the merchant applied and received payment for the job. This served as my electronic signature per the finance documents which I never was provided. Mr. Sparky took my information for a credit check and obtained a loan on my behalf without my knowledge and received payment for a job they did without my consent. Many follow up calls regarding this incident resulted in a 40 percent discount and boo hooing from their rep about them losing money. Believe me, they didn't lose money, they just didn't get the windfall they were expecting. This work took place the last week of September and I traveled to south Florida the second week of October to meet with a representative of the company to try and close this out. It is now November and follow up calls to Mr. Sparky have not been returned although they tell me I am High Priority for call back. Five plus weeks since they showed up, the job is still not completed and no plans or permits have been obtained, even though I paid for the permits as part of the job. My advice regarding anyone looking to hire Mr. Sparky, don't. Hire someone else.
