Reviews
Write a ReviewQuality basement did an amazing job I am very happy with their working skills I don’t have any leaks anymore and I’m happy and content with the job
I met with Laura to discuss finishing my basement and gave her background on how I am pretty handy and have family in construction - she told me right away she had the perfect solution for me and that it would allow me to save money. We decided to proceed with the RimJoint Spray foam and Foamax insulation. The crew came on the day of install on time and worked really good and fast all while doing an excellent job and cleaning up after themselves.
I chose this company because of the system that they use to collect the water and because they were less invasive. Other companies would have dug up more floor area and not have the catch system that Quality 1st uses.
We got off to a rocky start - the service guys had a flat on the way in & no one informed us about it. But once the project was started, Victor and his crew were excellent, going above & beyond in some cases. They were also neat - putting down tarps & putting up a protective plastic wall, so the entire basement didn't get dusty from the digging. We will definitely use them again for the 2 bedrooms in our basement.
Work was good overall, but some misunderstandings resulted regarding some aspects of the job occurred. An office worker gave me a starting date, but no one came or even called that day . There was another day set up where they showed up and did pretty thorough work, which was the least expensive of about 5 different estimates.
Quality
Great service and experience
I couldn’t be more pleased with how Quality 1st Basement handled my problem. We have an area in our home on a slab consisting of 2 rooms and a hall. Over the years the center of the area, which is 22’X12’, dropped about 2.5 inches, and less at the foundations. I had contractors in who wanted to tear the floor up, others that wanted to put leveling cement down, and some who had no idea. Then I found Quality 1st Basement. Jeff came, spent almost 2 hours with us walking us through the PolyLEVEL process, and answering all our questions and concerns. We contracted the next morning, and scheduled the job for 2 weeks out. The 2-man crew just came. They explained the procedure, what they were going to do, and how, and answered all my questions. Then they suggested how to proceed based on issues that cropped up. In less than 3 hours they were done, including clean up. The floor is now completely level, done quickly, at a fraction of the cost of other alternatives. Jeff, the crew, and the office were great and did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Quality 1st Basement.
On time and finished the job with minimal intrusion. leveled the concrete by poly-leveling...on the day of the job it looked great... sealed the cracks as well.... there is some sinking after 2 months since the job was done. but still no cracks.
They are on time. Leave the job cleaner then when started. Polite and courteous. Great company.
