Reviews
Write a ReviewThe owner came out and gave me an estimate. I called a friend of mine who is a general contractor and he confirmed it as a good deal. They were nice and polite. Took the time to explain the process. Gave me a 1 year warranty on their repairs. So I am very satisfied!
I was looking for a roofer due to a leak in the roof and this is one of the companies that came up in my search. He was quick to call to come out to look at the roof and to come out to make the repairs but that is the extent of the positives. Three people came out for the repair, 1 went on the roof (he said he only had one harness) with some caulk and that was the extent of the repair and ‘tune-up’. I was charged $1,100 for this service which I thought was a lot for what was actually done that day but was hoping for the best. One month later, my roof started leaking in the same spot so I called on a Saturday and he said that he would be out in a few days. The following Friday, I called to get a firm date and he said that he would be out Sunday or Monday. He never came out and never called to say he wouldn’t be out. I then called on the next Friday, 2 weeks after I initially called, and left a voice mail since neither the office nor cell phone was picked up. I left a voice mail stating I wanted a refund. He called 2 hours later. I have never had a phone conversation like that with a contractor in all the times I have dealt with contractors. He never apologized for not getting back with me and when I kept stating that he never called me back, he said that why should he call me back, I’m not his girlfriend. Really!!?? I paid a lot of money for him to fix my roof which he did not do and he made it seem like he was doing me a favor by saying that he would come back out and fix my roof free of charge. Really?? I believe a 2 year guarantee entitles me to have him come back out to fix my roof for free since it was not fixed the first time. It doesn’t matter how quick a company responds to the initial request but how a company handles customer service issues. Not calling me back, not apologizing for that and the multiple comments made during that phone conversation is unacceptable in a company. I have since hired another roofer to take care of the leak in my roof and the second contractor did more than caulk the roof, he replaced parts which actually fixed the leak in my roof for ¼ of the cost of what I paid this company. I have lost a lot of money with this company but I don’t want him anywhere near me or my home.
If I had time I would shop around I think the price was much too high for the work done.
$450 to apply a little caulking on the roof, which still leaked. When I called them back, I was told all the things that were wrong on the roof - a couple of split shingles, exposed nails, and the ridge vent needed to be re-caulked (true, yes) to the tune of $1100 for a "roof tune-up". I asked if that included replacing the shingles and was told "no', all they were going to do was caulk everything. Next time I know, the owner got angry and said he didn't have to justify his assessment, the exchange got heated, and he stomped off to his truck, telling his Son to get in, they were done. Then he said I'd better open the gate on my driveway before he drove through it! I think I'm being generous giving them 2 stars.
I felt that I was overcharged for spending $1000 for 1 person's work. They used a minor amount of supplies and a paint brush. They were very nice and pleasant to work with, I just felt that I was unfairly charged because I am an older single woman.
We apologize that you feel this way, we have tried contacted you to resolve this situation even offering a full refund. We would rather take a financial loss then have a unhappy customer.
No complaints. All positive. Having weeks of rain proved a success to their work.
Miller and his team came by within the time frame that we had arranged a day before. The work was completed (nail the ripped off trim back on the top of the house) to my satisfaction. While on the roof, the guy noticed a few exposed nails and minor issues on the roof which I agreed to have them sealed for an additional charge. I would call Roof Solutions again if needed.
Roof Solution showed up on time as promised was very courtesy and professional. and all work was guaranteed. I would recommend Roof Solutions to anyone that needs roof repair or a new roof. Larry L.
Vincent is very nice and quick responser to help fixing my roof. He considers all aspects before coming up with solutions. He is a good business man.
