I am writing this review due to my family's experience with Dream Floors, Inc. I chose the company based on the numerous and recent reviews that were all rated very highly. Unfortunately, my experience with the company did not reflect, nor warrant such glowing reviews. The project entailed removing existing flooring consisting of hardwood, carpet, and tile throughout the entire main level and carpet in the upstairs hallway with the new flooring. Size of the project was 2400 sq ft. Initially, Mr. Lee seemed very straight forward, was polite and arrived on time each day but positives end there. Problems began to show when I had to press Mr. Lee to provide a written quote as he was trying to begin work before a written contract was formalized leaving us in a position not knowing what the final price will be. A verbal price is very different from agreeing on paper. Once we formalized the paperwork I assumed we were on the same page. Unfortunately not, as halfway through the project Mr. Lee said that this project was more difficult than he anticipated and asked for an additional $1000 goodwill due to the difficulty of removing tile. Now, being the professional with 20+ years of experience in the industry I'm sure Mr. Lee knows what it takes to remove tile and should have honored his price commitment as we honored our commitment to pay. Especially after visiting the property multiple times and doing a thorough inspection of the work involved. He insisted this wasn't a normal project. I know that it is hard taking up tile, but a quick google search shows this is not out of the ordinary and normal for the course. This was priced in with every other quote I received. Nevertheless we agreed to pay this as we did not want to leave the project half done and go through the hassle of hiring another company while my house remained unusable by our entire family. Throughout the remainder of the project we kept running into issues that I wouldn't have expected from a company with so much experience. For example, issues as basic as the baseboards and door trim molding needing to be extended because the removal of the tile left a gap between the sub-floor and the original molding needed an additional $600 to account for. Again, 20 years of experience and this was an unforeseen event that requires me to go back into my wallet to pay for? Unacceptable. I understand if there were sub floor issues, but there weren't any and with a house that is only 5 years old I did not expect to have any. They also did a very poor job of covering things with plastic so dust everywhere from inside the kitchen cabinets to all over the floors. Additionally, the team seems to have not taken care inspecting planks before install to avoid planks with finish defects as I have found some. To make matters worse they damaged the baseboard at numerous locations around the house and even though I pointed it out during the job they left it unfixed and didn't even address it. So not only d

Does not speak good English--thus, it was hard to understand what he was saying. Contract was very confusing.

Quality workmanship and the price was comparable to other estimates, but Dream Floors did more for the same price. Did have some confusion with schedule. We thought we had a weekend to prepare but they showed up on Saturday instead of Monday. Worked out okay and the floors and stairs are wonderful.

Installed a wood floor and it was good and then hired them to install a tile floor and it was uneven but Mr. Lee came back and fixed the tile. He stands behind his work. That is what's important!

Mr. Lee and his team did a wonderful work. They were punctual and polite and their prices were very reasonable. They kept me informed about the days they were going to work. They removed the carpet and old laminate floor and installed solid hardwood on the main level of my home. They installed marble tiles in powder room. The sink started to drip after it was installed back. Mr Lee came back to fix the leak. We absolutely love our new hardwood floor and tiles. I will definitely recommend Dream Floors to my family and friends.

They were clean and professional. After they finished we had 1 spot that needed another look. They came back with a good attitude and took care of it. I would use them again and can recommend their work.
