Came out the same week. Installed 4 rooms within 4 hours and helped me move a lot of junk out of the way.

So I talked to a couple of different companies and Empire was the only one that matched up to my price. The sales consultant was nice enough but I definitely feel like they leave out a lot, and it's why I don't really care for in-home consults. When it came time for installations to happen that was a whole other headache. We had carpet and LVP put in. I was unaware that they subcontract all the work out and that I would have 2 different subcontractors come out to do the job. The originally had the LVP scheduled first which made no sense for the layout of my home. So had to call and reschedule which pushed the timeline back for installation. The carpet guys came, and somewhere along the lines, they were not informed that there would be furniture to move, even though our sales consultant assured us it was part of the pricing. Unfortunately, I had to step out that day, so I was not there when they arrived to verify all products and they almost installed the wrong carpet padding. Thankfully my husband was there and I asked him to describe it to me and send me pictures and we were able to get that fixed. However, the carpet guys tried leaving without putting things back in place. Needless to say, they did move things back into rooms, but my husband and I were left putting things back in place. Now, the next guys to come out were for the LVP. We told our sales consultant that we needed to have the liner put down, and argued and wouldn't add it to our sheet saying that we didn't need it. Needless to say, when the LVP guys came and measured moisture levels in our home he said we needed it. So we had to pay an additional price to have that installed. And even if we didn't, it was still something we knew we wanted down and the sales consultant still argued and wouldn't add it to the work order. Also, again, they were uninformed that there would be furniture to remove and some carpet needing to be ripped out. These guys were great though. They worked as efficiently as they could and even helped me out with a couple of other small things in the home and offered some great advice. My only other major qualm is a few spots don't feel level and I asked for them to remove the strips that were on the walls (I live in a mobile home) before putting the 1/4in round in, and they didn't remove the strips. Although, they brought with them the 1/4in round that matched my new floors and installed those instead of the white ones that were on the order. I wasn't even given the option to have matching 1/4in round put in, so I do appreciate that eye for detail. Those guys were much better though in putting back the furniture where it was. Overall experience, most likely will NOT ever go through Empire again to have a project of this scale done (whole home floor replacement). I would rather purchase the flooring myself and then hire my own contractor to come out and do the labor.
