    Empire Today called and asked about my project and they said someone could come out and go over flooring and ideas with me but I told them I wasn?t going to do anything for at least six months as I just wanted to know how much this will all cost and start getting ideas so when we are ready to do it we have everything figured out. The person on the phone said no problem at all it is still free for someone to come out. When the salesperson got to my home as soon as I told him that I was just getting ideas and I wouldn?t be doing anything for at least six months he instantly went from very helpful to very non helpful and couldn?t wait to get out of my house. Needless to say I won?t be using Empire if all they seem to care about is making money because it was obviously the Guy was in commission since his whole demeanor changed as soon as he found out it would be a future project and told me that the person on the phone should have never sent him out to my house to begin with since it was such a long time before I was going to do anything

    First off they match prices and beat them by 100 bucks. I got a quote from Lowe's, and they matched it saving me almost 800 bucks and I got some better quality carpet out of the deal too! That is what made the whole deal worth it for me, but work quality....they knocked a clock off my opposite wall and refused to pay for it. They passed it 100 times in the hallway and never mentioned to me that it could be a problem. These people have been doing this for over 5 years which says they do not have much common sense. They are however, good at the work they do and were pretty quick. They arrived on time at 830 and were done by 1 for 3 bedrooms. Customer service fought with me about repairing the clock and finally settled for paying for half of it. Getting a hold of Customer service was a nightmare. It is literally a persons job to sit there at Empire and take care of Customer complaints. Well after 1 week of calling everyday I gave up... I came across a survey sent to my email and filled it out about how angry I was that my clock had been destroyed that they called me to ask about it. That's when they decided to pay for half of it. Overall experience since everything turned out the way I wanted would be 4/5

    The installer was on time, friendly, efficient, worked hard, and did very nice work. When they were done, all of the tear out was gone, and the work place was clean! A very nice job!

    Price match guarantee doesn't really apply as no competition carries the exact same flooring. The installation process and outcome did not match promises of sales. I didn't want quarter round around some walls, but installer said he waned to. It isn't required but is common practice to save money. My quarter round doesn't match my trim now. Additionally the door trim and or doors need to be replaced or cut by owner, not the installer. Lastly they didn't order enough material to complete the job.
