They responded promptly, quoted a fair price and did the work a few days later. The crew was very professional and I felt comfortable having them at my home. When they left, the only way you knew that they had been there was the fact that the tree was gone and I had a beautiful pile of wood chips for the flowerbeds. I would recommend them to anyone.

Chris and his crew are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, work was excellent and efficient. They were able to take down & stump grind a large pine situated between two houses and a garage, next to a driveway & utility wires, without collateral damage and with good cleanup. Large dead branches from an ash tree were removed without incident to screen porch, neighbors garage, or garden. (Note - done in approx 2 hours). Stump removal was different day from cutting. And bonus - no problem with trimming overhanging branches from a neighbor's small trees, which are below a power line. Some contractors I contacted wouldn't do those, despite the fact that DTE already went through and did all the trimming around the lines. Contacting LaFountain can be challenging during peak periods. Initially I did not get a callback from my HomeAdvisor request, their phone mailbox was full for a few days, and they normally work/take calls M-F no weekends. If mailbox is full, you can leave messages via their website. On second attempt I was able to call and arrange visit for estimate.
