Tom's work was excellent and I appreciated how quickly he was able to re-stain our deck. I definitely recommend him.

Tom and Curtis did a great job cleaning and resealing our backyard gate and fences, loft deck, and rooftop deck with a quality product at a fair price. They were both knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and flexible (due to inclement weather) in getting the job done. It was terribly hot on one of the days they worked, but they held strong to get the loft and rooftop decks finished. They also noticed that one of our deck boards had lifted/warped slightly due to the sun and heat, and proactively fixed that. I'd definitely recommend the Rock Solid team to others and would use them again myself.

Hired Tom after getting several estimates. He was reasonable and indicated some areas that others had missed.

Tom Vondra, who also works with A-1 Building Services, was easy to work with, although, at times it was difficult to get a good connection between his phone and mine. I was not able to give tha job a full 5 stars because A) it's only been a few weeks, since the repair, and time will tell if the stucco repair holds up and B) the angle on the decorative ledge on the front of the house was not matched perfectly, which other people may be more particular about. However, I was concerned about moisture getting into the foundation and basement, with these big cracks at the corners of the house. What a relief to see how quickly and easily the job was done! The customer service was excellent and I'm very satisfied with the work (so far). To top it off, it was all done at a very reasonable price. I would call this business again.

We hired Tom after evaluating several painting proposals for the exterior (vinyl siding and trim) and interior. After reviewing Tom's references and discussing his approach to the work, which we found thorough and knowledgeable, we decided to have him do both exterior and interior. His pricing was very reasonable and he proposed several good ideas to deal with various issues, explained the pros and cons of preparation, paint choices and repair approaches, and stayed with the job consistently from beginning to end. We are very pleased with the work and were very comfortable having him in and around our home while doing the work.
