Tom has abilities far exceeding painting and can help with just about anything. I always call Tom first! He is very resourceful and helpful!

We hired Tom to paint and replace the wood on the exterior of our home. This is what happened: First, they came without calling and within minutes, were setup and in action. Secondly, they worked hard for nine straight days. (They skipped one Sunday). Thirdly, they returned on the final day and performed work that was not requested but greatly needed and appreciated. Lastly, my home looks 100% better. Although the final walk-through did not go as planned, I will be keeping Rock Solids telephone number in the rolodex. I know I must refer them to family and friends but it will be tough to do so because I might want to be greedy so that he can be readily available for just me. (LOL/JK!) Anyone who hires Tom Vondra will be happy with the completed project.

Tom was great. His work is thorough and of high quality. He was honest and straightforward. He worked closely with us to stay within our budget, and made several helpful suggestions about how we could accomplish what we needed to do most cost-effectively.

Work was required on our garage roof for the sale of our house. We (seller) were out of State so it wasn't easy to monitor work. When completed, quality and workmanship were beyond poor. Patches weren't sealed correctly, cap sheet didn't meet code, recycled wood used, termination bar incorrect - the list goes on + on. We also learned a permit WAS required and were told MULTIPLE times at the onset that it wasn't. It would NEVER have passed inspection!! Not only did this delay the closing of our house by over 10 days but Tom neglected my calls + texts once he realized he screwed up!!
