Excellent service and nice people. They were timely and very helpful. We were working with a condo project which required them to come back when full water was back on and they were totally available and pleasant about coming back to make sure there were no leaks etc. I would highly recommend them.

The worst experience I ever had left me with a leak ruined my vanity took my money and refused to come back and fix leak lied about everything and i mean lied unbelievable due in small claims court September 25 2019.

Clear a Clogged or Slow Drain

Plumber showed up at my house and didn't cover his feet. He left a mess in the bathroom. I had a backup in the Master bathroom. He didn't fix the problem in the tub. Left the bowl under the sink full of dirty hair, very misleading with the price. It was just a nightmare. Whatever he used it made my house sink. They promise to come back the next day and then wanted to charge me an additional $200.00.

Sorry ma?am but unclogging your drain will not make your your house ?sink? . As we notified you that your cast iron pipe lines had broken apart due to age there was nothing we could do after hours of attempting to unclog them . All are pricing are upfront , discussed and agreed to .

I would not hire this people again, very disappointed with their service. I have to call them again because I have the same problem a couple of days later and he wanted me to paid the $375 again.

Sorry to hear your misunderstanding , but when we pull plastic bags that have been flushed down your sewer line as a business we can not warrenty that , also the next issue arose weeks after initial work was conducted

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
