Reviews
Write a ReviewThey charged us more money than what the quote was, then when we asked them to finish installing the sink in the new addition they stated that they were paid and are not coming back. We will take them to court and if they do not finish the job in 6 months, the city of Plano will not let them do another job in Plano. We will see what happens. I am a very patient man.
This is not our company this is the work of some one else we finished what we were paid to do, and some times there are things that happen once you get in there that's led the cost go up.
I would prefer a longer guarantee of 6 mos rather than 3. I would use them again.
Showed up on time, completed work promptly and cleaned up after themselves. Repair was also significantly cheaper than another estimate. Would use them again.
They showed up on time. Explained what had to be done in good detail.
Good, prompt and courteous. Plumbers are expensive. That's why I went lower on the value for money.
Hired McBride plumbing recently to install a new gas line into the kitchen. I had some problems with their front office (not very professional) in terms of scheduling of the appointments and timeliness. However, once they are at the door, the crew is very good, knowledgeable and did a great job. And they are the cheapest quote I've received. I would strongly recommend hiring them, though you might need a bit of patience.
Everything was going fine up until halfway through the project. I found out I was under-estimated $500. They made inspection appointments insisting I stay home all day, but never asked me about it. Typical voicemail: "We set up the appointment for Monday, you need to be home all day that day." I had to get them to reschedule 3 times, which they always flaked on. Either way it ended on their terms. They scheduled us for Tuesday and my roommate who was late for work was home to let them in. They never asked us about that appointment. Also, I'm arguing with them right now to have the hole (they dug) covered, I still don't know if they will.
I hired McBride to replace some old leaky faucets - both indoor and outdoor and fix a leaky shower. I live in an old house and after looking at the old faucets he spent a few days getting the proper supplies and handles, with the office calling me each day to update me on the situation. He returned on a Saturday to do the work and spent several hours working. Cost was a factor for me and he worked within my budget and stuck to his original estimate even though I know he spent a lot of time on the job looking for the parts. His price was approx. $300 less than another plumber had quoted me. I will use McBride again!
This pro assigned a very inexperienced person to this job and ruined my cabinet wall while installing a gas line. When they committed to replacing the panel they merely filled the huge whole they created with putty. Then they broke my sprinkler line and refused to pay for the repair. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
