I cant recommend this contractor for others. I initially contacted them to come to my house to provide a quote to get our fireplace working. the remote ignition had stopped working and really just needed to be refurbished. They initially wanted to charge me to come over to provide a quote. I told them that I would not pay for a quote, then they relented and said they would simply come over. They came over to provide the quote and stated a price that would include everything needed to include fence, remote ignition, sanding and painting, new glowing embers, etc.. from the reps mouth exactly, " we will do everything to make it work and look great.". no actual quote was provided.. agreed based on a handshake. the day the work was supposed to ve performed was a total wreck. we committed on a timeframe in which they called to inform they didnt have the address. then they called to say they would be here after the time scheduled but this was already after the agreed time frame. they finally showed up after numerous calls back and forth. the technician was GREAT and none of this was his fault at all. He was working based on what he waa given in his scope of work which included only PARTS of what was agreed on. after calling the company they proceeded to argue with me over what was agreed on, etc. at the end of the day, the fireplace was repaired and the technician was fantastic but i wont use them ever again due to the experience we received

The work took over 2 weeks to perform. Just needed to change a leaky valve. They broke the old valve and then scheduled repair a week later. They did not keep the appointment. When we inquired they were unsure if the part had been ordered. I don't believe it had. A week later they came back and finished the job. Everything works now. Job was ok. Just not happy about the lack of contact and ineffective communications internally and externally. I will not use them again.
