Davis Contracting

If I could I would give the Alexander Davis Contracting Company a SIX star rating. I have used other contractors but none came close to the quality and workmanship as they did. I contacted them to rehabilitate my existing wooden deck. From the initial contact until the *timely job completion*, it was a great experience. Mr. Davis has assembled a great crew that came prepared to work. The entire company has a great work ethic, and I would recommend them without question.

They fixed an repaired a a stone wall, all my neighbors think they did a wonderful job. I thought they did wonderful work as well.

The repair was completed earlier than expected, and the wall looks like it was never damaged.

They were very fast and efficient and quality of work is very good.

Alexander Davis was quick, knowledgeable, and very easy to deal with. The work done was quick, professional, and competent.

Communication was very difficult at one point we havent heard from him in 5 weeks so I called him and he got Angry. They are very expensive but when they painted they left unfinished wood on our front porch. They just put a single coat of paint on it no primer and the wood started having pocks on it and looks like it has measles or chicken pocks all around my porch. They said that happens with natural wood and to wait about 3 months and that they would come back and paint over it again. In 3 months it will be November and will be too cold out to do exterior painting. I asked him about priming it with Kilz and repainting it and again he got very Angry. In my opinion he is very expensive and temperamental. I paid a premium price but I dont feel I got a premium product.

He was very responsive, very helpful, professional, pleasant to deal with. His crew is outstanding.

They did a large deck repair 250 sqft and repair steps. He did a beautiful work high quality work did great job.

Mr Davisâ crew was efficient, polite and did quality work. They addressed all of my concerns for the masonry work, and did such a great job that I also hired them to paint my house (4 colors involved). It took 3 weeks to complete everything, and was a bit pricey, but the results were worth it. I continue to get compliments on the paint from neighbors and others.
