It is never good when you have to finish a project Carefree did not finish. They left a 2in gap between the new tub and the old tile which I was told upfront would not happen. Their salesman told me "my floor guy can fix that". I was not looking to higher 2 contractors when I was told this would not happen. Another pricey expense. It took over 2 weeks to fix 4 holes they put in my kitchen wall on the other side of my bathroom which was only spackled once so I had to coat it 2 more times then match 6 year old paint. It looked awful and I had to repaint my kitchen. The workers consisted of one guy and 2 younger college kids who spent their time talking about girls and football which is more than likely the cause for the four, 4 inch holes. My bathroom, kitchen and living room were left covered in a thick layer of dust that I had to clean up. They had to ask me for paper towels and a fan because they did not have these basic items to keep the job clean. My fan died shortly after as the motor was full of plaster/mortar dust. The caulking along the joints was and still is awful and since they would not fix it I am now stuck with it. The contractor blamed me and said I must have tampered with it overnight! There are globs of caulk that were not smoothed out that are now dried along the middle of my walls seams. In some spaces the caulk was put on too thin so I have gaps that do not have caulk. The contractor gave me a tube of caulk to fix it myself and said that will fix it. Another part of the job I had to finish. I had wainscoting put in and on one of the joints where two pieces meet, the cap that covers the seam does not even go all the way the bottom of the seam so I have a very noticeable gap that several family members have pointed out to me. I have pictures I would love to share and the worst part is when I called to complain they sent a man from their warehouse(not a supervisor) to look and he even said it was not done correctly but it was left there. I never heard back from a supervisor on this issue and how to fix it. Instead I had a supervisor call and blame me over the phone for these things as I should have pointed them out sooner. I called the day after the install (24 hours) but this company seems to allow all of their supervisors go on vacation at the same time so I had wait a week just to get a phone call blaming me. Their way of making it better was to give me a $25 dollar Visa card. If you spend over 10k on a remodel you want it done correctly and professionally and that was not the case. Be very careful who you higher and do not higher this company or you might end up with a bathroom that bothers you everyday and every time you walk into it.
Response from Company:
This installation took place in August 2017. At time of purchase the customer advised us that he would be installing a floor after our installation. The company followed the install procedure that allows the flooring company to install and finish the floor without damage to the new system. Although this customer signed our post installation paperwork signifying he was satisfied with the job, he had some legitimate punch list items that he brought to our attention after installation that we took care of. We are not perfect, but accountable. For some reason, he insisted on deep, deep discounts for inconveniences. He did not treat our customer service or installation staff very well when he wasn't given the unreasonable discount he was seeking. For some reason, he wrote a poor review of our company four months later (Dec 2017) even though we have a second set of signed paperwork that he was satisfied after leaving the service. Again, we are not perfect but we are accountable and take action to make sure our customers are happy.

They were very personable and made sure to ask exactly where I wanted things put so it would help me most. They cleaned up so well I was amazed. They have no idea how happy I am with the work they have done and how independent I can be now with something as simple as a walk-in shower !!

They did a wonderful job replacing my old shower. I have an older home and they ran into some problems. They fixed the problems and finished on time. I would use them again and recommend them again.

The sales guy (Sergio) was friendly, but the pitch was very long for no reason (90 minutes). I know they make him do it that way, but I don't need an entire lecture on buying a shower. It took over an hour to even get to talking about shower options/colors/prices etc. The first 75 mins was all about the company, who they are, why they have good ratings, what their product IS. I know these things, that's why I called and set up the appt. The installers were good and friendly. They worked quickly. However, I was a little bit put off by one of the installers "JJ" repeatedly slamming things they were installing (like the walls of my shower) with my glass storm door against the door frame. Also one of my existing bathroom walls was a little uneven the installer said so it made the shower wall uneven, I had to call the guys back to take a look after they already left because I thought something was wrong. However, it could've easily been curbed by them telling me that the wall was a bit uneven and it won't be exact when installing. They also broke one of the tiles on the wall near the shower off and glued it back on without saying anything to me about it, I found that this morning, but it is barely noticeable. I called back the next day because I noticed there were some gaps in the caulking along the walls after it dried and wasn't sure if that needed to get fixed. They sent the original installers out a few days later to check and fill the gaps. The guys said it wouldn't matter due to the seal, but filled it anyway. I personally feel better not having holes in the caulking though. The shower looks great, works great, only took a few hours to install. They came about 8:30am, left before 2pm. The sales guy, convenience, and product itself make up a large portion of the 4 stars, however I feel their rush to install quickly diminishes their quality of work a bit.
Response from Company:
Thank you for your review. Please remember that we inform everyone at the beginning while booking an appt, that we need 60-90 mns to explain what we do. I am glad that we kept within that time frame. We also ask you to remember that these systems are advertised as ?installed in as little as just one day?; which is why our company and the industry is booming. Please do not confuse fulfillment of this, as a rush. Our installers are all factory trained and certified and must install according to the manufacturer?s specifications in order for our company to remain certified with our manufacturer. When a job gets installed we have to slide the doors firmly to make certain they are sturdy, durable, and anchored properly. We use a strong adhesive to install the walls and have to make sure that they adhere properly; so we have to press firmly on them to ensure proper installation. There is a large amount of demolition involved so its impossible to do a soundproof or delicate installation if it?s going to be installed properly. We appreciate your business and taking the time to review our company and wanted to take the time to address any concerns you might have had regarding anything during this process. If you have any other questions or concerns, please make sure to contact our office directly and as always we will be happy to assist you.
