The sales rep (Steve Gee) was great and the people that laid my flooring was very quick. I didnÂ’t get to meet them because they ended up coming on a day that I had to work. Customer Service was given a low rating because the First Lady who called me to confirm my appt stated that she did not see my financing and they I had to pay in full when the workers got tonmy house. I started to get annoyed and told her I was unable to speak to her now being that I was at work and I would call back. Once I got off the phone I confirmed my appt via email within like 15mins or so. I received a confirmation about my installation for the Sat morning very early Friday morning. I contacted customer service after work on Frinto make sure my financing was showing and a lovely young lady donÂ’t remember her name stated that it was showing and sheÂ’s not sure why I was told that a couple days prior to. Between the Friday evening and early Sat morning I removed everything from my bedroom and contacted empire today around 830 to find out my timeframe only to be told that I was rescheduled to 6/14 (very upsetting) I was in the phone the entire morning trying to figure out how and why my appt was changed without my consent and knowledge. No one knew.. I contacted my sales guy who was confused himself and couldnÂ’t find the reason as to why I was switched and was unable to get a crew to me that day. In the midst of me trying to contact the office which was closed on the weekend I texted a number who had texted me when my sales rep came asking if he was a manger because I had an issue which I recÂ’d a message back saying contact customer service (pissed off even more) Needless to say Steve was able to get me an appt for Monday morning and my sister was able to fill in for me. I did not and still do not like the trimming of my floors but kept it because I was told I would need to reshedule my flooring if I wanted to change the trimming and I was not going to wait any longer.

The installers were fine although they were all Spanish speakers. I spent 2 hours explaining to my sales person exactly what I needed but they still showed up without baseboards. Then they only cut the vinyl and had to came back another day. But then they only sent one person do four rooms and baseboards and he showed up without the thresholds. It was ridiculous and the guys seemed to have no idea about what I spent 2 hours explaining to the sales person even after the sales persons confirmed that he would send pictures showing exactly what I needed and the installers would have it. Clearly a complete waste of time and no one answers the customer service line. They are good price but do you really want to waste days of your time to get it done.

The laminate peels. The quarter round along the wall peels. There were gaps in our flooring, and they needed to come back out and fix it. The salesman who came to our house said that the floor is more durable that the floor we had at that time, and liquids would not be an issue since the other laminate was basically just a photo on wood, or something cheesy like that. Well my previous floor had dings in it from my son, and my grand kids, but never any issue with peeling. Empire used the lowest quality flooring. Also, looked like the installers used their teenage kids to help. Not professional. When we contacted Empire to complain, they basically did not even respond.

Seamless process. The sales agent brought samples into my home handled all of the paperwork at my dining room table. received interest free financing for a year and a couple of weeks later the installers came. The carpet quality is wonderful the installers did a pretty good job and I am overall very happy with my experience. Everything was done on time and everyone was a pleasure to work with thus far. No issues re: customer service yet

they reached out to me i sent the inquiry to your app. that was a few a days ago and the next day they reached out to me. the gentleman was very pushy with getting my address. i told him to give me a minute i had questions to ask. i established a date for them to come out. the lady that came out did well she was very professional. she wrote up the laminate and carpet orders different. the appointment was supposed to be tomorrow. i called in to see what the padding was going to be under the laminate. they told me i never called in for the laminate. that's what i originally called in for. i cant be making calls to babysit a company like this. Great sales woman that came to my house. Terrible customer service. They keep hanging up on me.
