    When they came to install the floor we selected they made it sound like the huge deal of all, they gave us the best discount in the market, though when they arrived they found some moisture on the concrete floor so they ask to wait for it to dry, once they come back they picked up the material and cancel the order, there was no solution offered for the problem and was left with no money and no rooms to sleep on. Had to hire someone else competent enough to solve the problem though 4 weeks later I'm still waiting for my refund I thought this was a serious company, BUYER BEWARE. They are pretty quick to collect your money but will take forever to refund if you have to cancel. Notes: material when it arrived looked like crap not as showed in the catalog when they sell it to you at the end we are glad someone else did the job and not Empire's

    Called ahead to let us know when to inspect them. We had our whole house re-carpeted and they moved the heavy furniture in order to do the job. The crew was excellent! They cleaned up afterwards. The carpeting is just what we had hoped for -- and installed worry-free!

    Would definitely think twice before hiring this company. I will never contact them again. Originally hired them for a carpet install for our 3 bedrooms. Paid the initial deposit after telling the sales rep that we needed the install done quickly, as we were preparing our home for sale. The rep told us they would be able to do the install on 1/27, which we agreed to. However, it became clear that he made false promises to us as he phoned us back a couple of days later to tell us that they would not be able to perform the install on 1/27. He then told us that he would be able to get us scheduled for a 2/1 install, which we agreed to because it was still quicker than having a whole new company come out. The sales rep confirmed our 2/1 install date over text and we also received an email confirmation from Empire for a 2/1 install. However, nobody from the company came out or contacted us on 2/1 to install our carpet. I had to call in and speak to customer service, who told me there was a note on our account that stated I had called in the day before to move the install date to 2/7! I told them I never called in to reschedule because we were trying to get our house ready to be placed on the market but they didn't seem to care at all. It was pretty clear that the sales rep overpromised on when the company could do the install because he wanted to get the sale and went so far as to change the install date on our account and hope that we would just go with it! Needless to say, I was extremely upset with the lack of professionalism of the company and requested to have my order cancelled and my money refunded. Also during this time of speaking to their customer service and cancellations department, I tried contacting the sales rep over phone and text as he gave us his cell to reach him with any questions and he never responded to me. Along with this post, I'll be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.

    Arrived when the said they would. Took approximately 2 hours to install my flooring. Then they swept up and got rid of all debris and mopped the floor. Great job!

    The installers were nice but made a total mess of my home and my things. They had to remove old ceramic tile and I expected it to be dusty but they bought nothing to cover my furniture with. I went tout to purchase plastic and they took the remaining with them. They used my items such as buckets, water, etc without even asking

    I would have preferred their own employees install the flooring instead of sub contractors. Only one installer with a young female helper arrived at 10am and did not finish until after 6pm. I have had flooring installed at another property and it was a better finishing job. I was also told the flooring was made in the USA. On the box it was printed Made in Belgium. When I questioned them I was told the material was made in the Us, but the box was made in Belgium. Hard to believe. The quality of the flooring was good, if I was ordering again I think I would have ask for higher grade of underlay/padding. The sales person was really nice, she was the reason I gave order to the first company that came out to give an estimate. Over all now that I have had the floor awhile, I can see the installer did a good job, I'd hire him again. Yes.

    Worse customer service. Contracted 6 days prior to installation day do installation at 8 a.m. got a phone call my carpet was not delivered to them and was out of stock. Did a change to a carpet in stock for next day assured the carpet would be delivered and installed to get another phone call the next morning to hear the carpet did not get delivered. Customer service just acted like it was no big deal what do you want us to do. No in place plan for errors. Becomes your problem not theirs. From every call I have made no one really gives a darn just gee sorry you aren’t happy don’t know what you want us to do...doesn’t take much to figure it out I want my carpet and I want it installed as contracted and no more excuses. I want someone to be making some attempt to make the situation better. Even a for our mistakes can we give you a little offf for your inconvenience we have caused. Something instead of asking me what do you want me to do about it. Since the warehouse is only 3 hrs away what about having a plan for a back up truck. What about being honest since the sales person admitted that they are backed up on installation which again offer some compensation for your troubles and the delays they are causing their customers. But then he blew it by saying he was too busy with bigger accounts. How they have such high ratings and say they are in such high recommendations with Home Advisor and BBB and other organizations is very questionable. I can assure you if I ever do get my carpet and it installed it will be the last time. If I could get a full refund I would go else where and I have now wasted 8 days where I could had went else where. Not satisfied at all and very disappointed in the lack of customer service in what is suppose to be a large company.
