John and his assistant Moses were very professional and courteous, and exceeded my expectations. My wood floors look amazing and the clean-up was minimal, as promised. I would recommend them without hesitation.

He insisted on getting paid ( cash ) before the job was finished, he left his assistant to come back on the 2nd day and finish the job and told me to pay him the balance. Unprofessional and cannot be trusted. When his assistant finished the job did not even call me so I could lock the apt. I am planning to report him to better business bureau. He also tried to change the price after the job had been started, he lied about the price and I caught him on his lie. I am not satisfied with the quality oh his work and may have to get some one to finish the job

I asked the customer to please give a cash deposit at the end of the day because the apartment was being sold and the only thing I had on the customer was his cell phone and his e-mail they had already moved out. I did have my assistant go for the last coating he has been with me for 23 years and he does pick up some of the balances for me. The customer was asked to come back in an hour and a half to lock up, and the customer was given a price of $1,500 and I brought it down to $1,400 when I was selling him the job. There could be no lying the customer and the building had all of the paperwork. That is the only way the building would allow us to work. The only one lying is the customer here, the price of the job does not change unless the job description does. Please look at all of ratings over 90% of our customers are very happy.

Excellent service provided, they were on time, very professional and cleaned up thoroughly. Moses even taped off the section he was working on so no mess would spread, he also recomended the stain to match the floor (redid steps). I'm very pleased by the outcome and would highly recommend John's Hardwood Floors.

John and his entire business, from his office manager to his crew were amazing. They were professional, knowledgable, and accommodating. Moses did an impeccable job, explaining our options in detail when we discovered parts of the floors would need repairs. We are beyond happy with our newly refinished floors.
