The company came on time to do the inspection, made a recommendation and submitted a price to us. Of the three contractors contacted, Precision was the fastest to get their quote back to us and had the best pricing and breakdown. Thanks Guys, you did a great job.

Initially I was very impressed with this company. Jason the PM was friendly and helpful during the estimate and initial walk through. They got started right away, which was a huge help. Then the crew didn't prime all the rooms that needed priming (very bright/dark colors). I caught it at the end of day one. Jason spoke with them and assured me they would apply an extra coat of paint to correct that mistake. Once they were all done, I noticed areas of the wall that hadn't gotten the multiple coats as promised and a built-in shelf that was still the original color. They came right out the next day to fix it. Once we moved into the house, I noticed more. The entire master bath had only been coated with one coat and no prime (it was a dark green, we changed it to a light grey). I also found that there were small sections of wall between the trim and a corner that weren't painted, so they're still their previous bright/dark colors. After a bit of coordination, the team came back out to fix that as well. I've since found a few more areas between trim and wall that were missed, but I give up at this point. Overall, good quality painting, but not what I expected for the hefty price tag and the professionalism of the PM.

Michael, was the project manager for the Garden City Community Church parlor renovation project. The job was completed in a timely manner. The painters were efficient & friendly. I highly recommend Precision Painting Plus.

They worked very hard to make my Window sills and the surrounding frames look decent after damage was done by the company who put new windows in. Not my choice of the window company.

Precision's quote was about $700 more than any other quote we received and didn't even include the cost of paint, but we decided to splurge to make sure the job was done right after Gil convinced us that we were paying for quality. Our quote included radiators, trim, closets and a fireplace. He mentioned that they would also do some minimal sanding and staining on unpainted trim that had seen better days. On the day the painters arrived, it was confirmed that the trim could be addressed and estimated that the whole job would be done in 3-4 days. On the third day, (Wednesday) Joel told us that the work was done, but the fireplace, closets and trim had not been done. In addition, the work was sloppy in a few places, mostly where the trim met the walls. My wife and I painted our last apartment in a prewar building and we know that we could have done a better job ourselves. In any case, there was a lot of poor communication and they could not get another painter in there to finish the work until the following Monday. When the painter arrived, he told us that he was only told to paint the fireplace. The painter then told us that he was leaving because Gil is very disrespectful and never told him that he needed to do the closets or work on the unpainted trim. This put our plans to move 2 days later in limbo as we pleaded with the painter to stay and finish the job. Eventually he stayed and did a great job. When Gil did the walkthrough, he tried to pin the sloppy work on the age of the house. I don't see how that can affect how one places tape on wall trim. He also acted as if he did us a favor by finishing the closets, even though they were included in the contract. When we first got our quote, it was estimated that the cost for paint and materials would be about $400-500. We wound up paying $1500 for materials. In the end our job wound up costing more than $2500 more than the next most expensive quote and it was not to our satisfaction. Gil did not seem to care and did not really offer anything meaningful as compensation to make up for the shoddy work and the unfulfilled promises. My father-in-law had initially planned on using Precision to paint his house from top to bottom, but after our experience there's no way we could recommend them.
