After the exterior paint project was completed. Some areas on the front door could have been sanded a bit smoother. When shown to the project manager the response was “Well, the project itself should have cost more, it’s about what the customer wants to spend." I agreed to the estimate based on the written scope of work and price. Also, at the beginning of the project, I was told their is more work than was estimated and the painters aren’t going to get paid much. The work performed was neat and presentable. In the contract it states materials (paint) I was also charged for wood filler and sand paper. I asked if I could purchase the paint and was told it is best for us too so we know the product. Yet the price didn’t reflect a contractors discount as I have worked with other painters.

Precision Painting did a great job. They power washed my whole house. You wouldn't believe how much dirt can accumulate over the years. Great job.

The work that was done was barely acceptable. The furniture and wall-to-wall carpeting were not covered well and I found splattered paint on oak furniture in one room and globs of spackle on the china closet in the dining room. I was able to scrape the paint and spackle off the furniture (although I shouldn't have had to) but the worst is the pain and spackle on the wall-to-wall carpeting. The PM's answer was "It is water-based and will come out." OK - that means I have to hire a professional carpet cleaning service now and hope it does come out. If they expect carpet cleaning to be a part of the job it should be included in the estimate. I also wasn't crazy about finding a microwave oven one day when the crew left. I am assuming they just plugged it in to any outlet (not one specifically upgraded for high power electronics). There could have been a fire. Also the job took longer than we were told to expect it to last. I do not recommend this company.
