Gary showed up early, was very friendly and professional. Got the job done very quickly. Will absolutely call Town & Country if I ever need anything else done!

My original request was to replace the rubber on the bottom of my garage door. Gary replaced the rubber & he indicated the cables were rusted & needed to be replaced which he did. Initially the door was very quiet, but I called to report ~1 week later that the door was suddenly noisier than it had ever been. Gary came back when I was not home & told my husband the door just needed to be oiled. In my 40yrs experience with garage doors, I've never had to do this and I'm not sure why, if oiling was necessary, he didn't either do it when he installed the cables or at the very least notify us when the initial work was performed that oiling the cables was required. A few days after he oiled the cables, I noticed when the door is closed for awhile, it makes a loud clicking noise the enyire time the door is opening. I called again & in response Gary left me a very snippy voice mail indicating that I was wasting his time coming all the way to Canton to oil my cables & he would be charging me next time for wasting his time. I had planned to have Town and Country replace my mom's garage door in the Detroit Golf course neighborhood before the PGA tournament & my sister had planned to have her door replaced too, but she lives in Ann Arbor, so that sounded like it would be even more inconvenient for the technicians & certainly after she listened to the unprofessional voice mail Gary left on my cell, she found someone else to replace her door and her neighbor plans to do the same. I waited a couple of months instead of doing this review right away, so instead of immediately giving a snarky review in response to his snarky attitude, I thought it would be more fair to give myself some time to be more objective. I also would suggest when you are dealing with senior citizens it is important to be cognizant of how you communicate.
