Write a ReviewWOULD HIRE AGAIN. 30-40% OVERPRICED, BUT YOU DO GET GOOD PEOPLE THAT DO GOOD WORK. ON TIME, CLEAN UP WELL, DO NOT CAUSE PROBLEMS, KEEP HOME OWNER IN THE LOOP. ONLY COMPLAINT IS PRICE. BUT I AGREED TO IT TO GIVE WIFE WHAT SHE WANTED.
Maybe a little over priced but the quality is worth it. Thanks
I hired Improveit for a tub to shower remodel based on Home Adviser recommendation. BIG MISTAKE. installer took 6 days because he only worked 1/3 hrs per day. The fixtures were wrong, the drain was not sealed and leaked into our kitchen ceiling, the curtain rod was hung too low, the soap dish is already coming off the wall and the sealant was not cleaned up leaving a horrible look. I could go on and on but I am sure you got the picture.
I rated the quality of the windows as a 5 however ther are several thing I am not happy with: Customer Service - Communication with the company was very bad. I call the company to get an estimate of when they would be here - no call back! I call the company at 10:00 am on the day of the installation to see when the installer would be here - I receive NO answer for my voice message. ALL the numbers listed on there folder went to voice mail. I was told it would be a 1 day installation. However, they installed the windows on Friday and are not coming back until Monday to complete the outside. Who ever job it was to secure the middle panel of the sliding window (3 panel window) did not! This resolved in the middle panel fell out and shattering when the installers were moving it. The installer used the old middle panel as to temporarily fix for the window which allow cold air into the living room. (I as told a rush on the window was ordered BUT it will be 12 days.)
Well, it seems like I may be a day late and a few hundred dollars short with coming to this site to read the reviews. Our agony started technically in May when we signed the contract. We were told that the job couldn't commence until ALL the items were in. Well that then became AUGUST!!! We were told that the job would take 5 days...well that was the biggest darn lie. Here it is October 4th and the job is still not complete to satisfaction. There are soooo many factors that lead to this review. I will highlight the important ones. The team didn't work a full 8 hours any day of the initial 5 days of said project. This was a bathroom remodel. The bathroom is not that big I promise. At the end of the 5th day we were informed that we would not have a sink and couldn't use the shower (we had the tub removed). I'm sorry but what in the hell!!!! We were then accomodated (as this should have been the last day), but no. The mirror that was ordered was mysteriously broken so that was not ready for an additional 2 weeks as well as not knowing we would not have a shower door and the closet oh the closet. Well somehow or another the team failed to read on the papers that were drawn up and supposedly in their possession of the job requirements and specs that we were to have a closet built. So another week or two go by and with volumous texts and phone calls we seem to now be all done right...no far from it. The closet door that was put on was A. not painted the color of the trim as it was supposed to be and B. doesn't fit properly AND is messing up the paint job that we just had done. Are you kidding me!!!!!! So here it is 6 weeks after the start of this 5 day project and we are still having issues. How is this acceptable. I'll tell you how...it's not. The sad part besides this debocle in the work is that the salesman was so good. I usully can shut it down when they sound slimy. This one got me. I'm kind sad and upset that I allowed myself to believe in yet another company only to find myself here...writing this review. Now mind you the bathroom is a beauty...for what we paid I think we should get something back to compensate for the breakdown in EVERYTHING since the start. 5 days...the biggest lie I've been told in a long time. From all the prior reviews it seems that this one falls right in line with all the other things that have been said.
Tried to repeatedly change price and scope of project. Salesman quoted inaccurate price apparently and couldn't provide services he promised. Sales Manager called and said he could save me money. When he came over he decided it would actually cost me more. Impatiently waiting for the refund of my 50% deposit!!
Our bathroom installer Herbie did a fine job IMO We have an older house &a smaller bathroom which would be hard for anyone to work in But he was meticulous & thorough & respectful of our privacy We are very pleased with the outcome
Everything went so smooth up until scheduling. I was not told the time the installers were going to be at my home. I had to call 3 times until I got hold of a nice person who got me some answers. The installers were professionals and did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier. Absolute perfection. If I did not have problems with getting the Schedule Manager to call back and communicate the time his installers were going to be on the job, this job would have been perfect
Did not call for request.
Great company! They did fantastic work despite it taking around 11 - 12 weeks to get started. I wish they painted but the service is not available with them. All in all I would recommend this company to others!
