I am a first-time home buyer and I learned a valuable lesson. 1. I believe Leaf Filter is more expensive then other folks in the area. Make sure you shop around. I was taken in by the consultant sales tactics - claiming that he was giving me a great discount because my timing was very flexible. But if I had shopped around I think I could have saved about half of what I paid. 2. Make sure you fight for what you need because Lead Filter will not make sure that you are getting everything you need. I have a section of my garage that is a bit close to a shed and they told me they could not put gutters there. I took them at their word but it was completely not true. They should have worked with me to find a solution, especially for the price I paid. I had a similar situation with a section of my home that had a door that swung out and they did not help me with that either. When I approached them about this after the fact, the consultant changed his story and told me he gave me a deal because he was not doing that section. He then gave me a quote that is - no joke - 4x the price that I got from another company. Generally the work they did is good but they will charge you an arm and a leg and they will not be thorough.

The main thing I didn't enjoy was the sale pitch. It took far too long. Everyone else came and did the estimate in about 15-20mins. The LeafFilter rep took well over an hour of my time by explaining the company's history and where they get the materials they use to how they were chosen to install gutters for the BBB building. He was pushy about me signing a contract but I can't blame him. That's his job and he's very good at it. Hungry to make a sale. Honestly, I didn't want to waste time talking about gutters. I did go with them because they were able to beat the other estimates, but that came after a while of negotiating. The workmanship was very good, so I recommend them.

They haven't finished the job

Lack of communication. When installer finished for the day he failed to say he did not have enough material to complete job. 2 days later received call from someone else to say they were coming to complete job. I did not receive a confirmation job was completed. I had to physically go outside to confirm it was completed. I left a text message for original sales guy to call me since he didnâ t have a voicemail. He did not call me. So I had to call office to tell them about lack of communication.
