Contractors did an immaculate job. I am very satisfied. Price was fair. Contractors were on time each day,and left no walls unfinished. Worked until sunlight was gone and even worked pass that time in the rain. Everyone was so nice and understanding from Scheduler Dawn to InspectorJosh,Plumber Lenny,Lorenzo and his Laborers and Electrician. Even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan who came to make sure I was happy with the work. They put me at ease.

My overall experience with Basement Gurus is amazing from start to finish. They were professional, responsive, and thorough. Price is the best among the three companies I quoted. Dan Kelly (owner) is personable. He doesn't try to sell you what you don't need. Also, a shout out to Carlos (head crew) and his crew. He was very attentive to detail. Left the work area clean after each day. (They were there for a total of 3 days). I had french drains installed in 2 areas of my basement, and 3 underground sump pumps and 1 above. They were also there to seal the outside of my home where water was coming into the basement. Carlos sealed off all the areas and prepped them where he needed to work. What can I say? I am a very satisfied customer. Oh, did I mention the lifetime warranty on the french drains. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for basement waterproofing services!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!!!

Basement Gurus arrived to discuss our basement water issue. Dan patiently went over everything and listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He prepared a proposal to remove 4' of our patio and dig down to the foundation to waterproof the wall and fill the cracks from outside. He also suggested burying a downspout and pipe leading water away from the house and sealing the wall cracks on the inside basement wall. The team arrived as scheduled and worked incredibly hard for several hours a day. They were impressive in the system they followed and how much work they performed each day and were respectful of us and our property. By the end of the job everything was back in place. We wish the expense wasn't necessary, but felt the price was worth it due to the difficulty, the amount, and the quality of the work. We highly recommend Basement Gurus!!

I just want to express the great work, the professionalism and the expertise that Dylan and his crew delivered. Basement Gurus get 20+ stars from me. They were very informative from the beginning with the knowledge that Dan brought to the table when giving us the estimate. We just moved from NYC into our first home in Delaware and we experienced some water leaking into our finished basement. After searching on YouTube and knowing the do's and don't of waterproofing and sump pumps. I did my part in searching who in the area can do the best work and BASEMENT GURUS we're the obvious choice. They listened to what we wanted and made sure we got all that we needed. They were able to schedule me within a 2 week period and they offered financing which was perfect. On the day of construction I must say Dylan and his crew from Lancaster worked non stop and made a 2 day job into 1. They were very respectful and after all was completed Dylan gave me the walk through and informed me of all that was done. The before and after is incredible. I will definitely recommend this team to handle any work you need done to your house when it comes to waterproofing. Not only do the back up their work with a lifetime warranty but they also gave me a transferable warranty if I ever sell my home. There are definitely a 20*+ team. I bought a house in 2021 that had significant water damage leaking through the walls onto the concrete floor in the basement. After researching multiple companies around the area, I reached out to Basement Gurus. Ashley, Boni, Josh, and owner of the company Dan Kelly, all went above and beyond to make sure that there would be no more water damage. They installed a French drain, vapor barriers, and more. The owner Dan Kelly personally came out to make sure that the work got done correctly. This company is the best around, you won't be disappointed.

In January of this year, my wife and I decided we needed to transform our finished basement to an inhabitable living area. That would require adding a bathroom and an egress window for â emergency escapeâ . We hired a contractor for the bathroom and began the research on egress windows. As we were anxious to move ahead ASAP, I began contacting companies that installed egress windows. We had a couple of reps come out, look at our basement, discuss the process and quote prices. Estimates ranged from $8000 to $12000. Most had 2 things in common. 1} They could not schedule the job until somewhere in May or June as â windowsâ wouldnâ t be available until then. 2) Any â finishingâ work (necessary sheet rock and trim) would be extra as they did not do that. In March, I happened upon a copy of a regional advertising magazine (Clipper) which came in our mail. In it was an advertisement for â Basement Gurusâ . Since we still hadnâ t made a commitment for the work, I gave them a call. After discussing the job with them, I came to conclusion to go with â Basement Gurusâ . There were five reasons why I made this decision. 1) It appeared to me, based on reviews, the company had a good reputation. 2) The fact that they had windows in stock. This would move job completion date up significantly over what I had been told by at least three other companies. 3) The price. 4) Excavation would be done manually eliminating the possibility of damage to my neighborâ s lawn. 5) Sheetrock and finishing included. Our egress window project (install/follow up sheetrock/trim) was completed on time. Three workers came to our home for the install. They completed the window in three days. Very efficient, professional. Our township inspector came out a few days later and said â all looked goodâ . Also, John the sheetrock/trim person told me he had done a number of egress finishes. He said this one, as opposed to some heâ d seen, looked really good. The sheetrock and trim was completed in one day. An egress window is a big job. They make alterations to your homeâ s foundation! All in all, Basement Gurus did an awesome job! We now have a really nice â livableâ basement adding significant value to our home. Basement Gurus gets my full recommendation! After getting an estimate from another company, Basement Gurus offered us a much better system for a much lower price. We had a large and complicated job to do, and the crew finished it all beautifully. Since then, weâ ve had several tropical storms, and not a drop of water in the house.
