We got 3 quotes from different companies. Basement Gurus was comparable in both value and price to the others but we ultimately chose BG because of the salesman, Philip, who made us feel safe and taken care of like family. He walked us through everything so we knew exactly what to expect. The staff that showed up were so kind. They did a great job and kept us informed throughout the process. They had an opening a week sooner than our scheduled date so was able to complete the project sooner than expected. They cleaned up everything afterwards so you couldn't even tell that concrete was hauled out and all the work that was put in. There have been several heavy rainfalls since the install and our basement is completely dry. Calling BG was the best decision.

We purchased our home in June 2021, and noticed a damp smell whenever it rained. Upon further inspection of our crawl space, we noticed a lot of damp spots and the sump pump was not effective. I had several companies quote me but I wasn't sure what the right answer was. I was waiting on my Basement Guru free estimate when Dan Kelly, the owner of Basement Gurus, called me himself before they came out. He asked me what was going on, asked me to send him pictures, diagnosed what was going on over the phone basically. Then Michael came out to just confirm the diagnosis, which was less labor intensive than what others had told me. The crew was out within a week. They installed our new sump pump and partial French drain along the outside wall. It is like a new house and basement here. They work crew was extremely professional. Their rate was reasonable. I highly recommend.

Ours was a very big job. Dillion and his crew were amazing. Very hard working and respectful crew. Great communications and keeping expectations clear. I interviewed several firms and Josh, one of the owners was a top pro. Explained the job well and came prepared for our initial meeting. Very experienced company, well insured and totally qualified. I'm thrilled with this firm and the job they did. We can rest easy now when it rains.
