I feel Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Sarasota is a rip off outfit. I purchased a garbage disposal at a home improvement store and called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and asked if they could install the disposal. They said no problem but there would be a $59 service fee. I said ok come over to my home and install the disposal. When the Technician came he told me the installation was $275.00. since he was already at my home I told him to go ahead and I'd talk to his boss later about the charge. He spent 20 minutes installing the disposal and didn't even hook up the power to it. His explanation was "Oh we're plumbers....we don't do electrical work" (Even though the office said he could completely install the disposal). Oh $275.00 for 20 minutes is over $800.00 an hour (what a crock). He spent the next 17 minutes trying to sell me air conditioning services and water purification services. I have called their office every day for a week to speak to a manager and each time they tell me someone will call you back. I haven't heard a thing. Stay away from these people.......far far away. The plumber did great work. I did not like it when I could not be given an estimate over the phone when I asked how much it would cost to have my faucet installed. When the plumber got here it told me it was a standard fee of $275 to install the faucet. I might have called another plumber if I would have know the cost in advance.

they were excellent. on time , very nice. will use them again
