Write a ReviewI have to say that I have never actually paid this plumber for a job. However, I had a problem with our plumbing flooding the house the evening before my mother was going in for surgery. I wish I could remember the plumber's name to give him a quality shout out. What I can say is that he came out ...said that he would take a look at it and it might possibly cost between a certain amount plus the service charge fee if he was able to fix it. He also said if he wasn't able to fix it that it would just be the service fee. Well... He wasn't able to take care of the issue, however, he also told me that since his office was so close to our home that he didn't feel comfortable charging a service fee. I'm hoping this comment does not cause him any kind of adverse effects. In this day and age when people are trying to just survive it's refreshing when others show a decent moral code. They want to obviously make a living, but at the same time they don't want to do it at a hindering cost to others. I don't know if this gentleman was an owner or an employee, but if I have any issues in the future... Benjamin Franklin plumbing will be one of the first places I call.
James even found a leak I did not know I had. Thanks. He solved the odor problem I called about.
Was not happy with the way the cost was applied.
Had to reschedule after paying $180. Then I went out of town so calling tomorrow to reschedule again ?
On time. Fixed issue.
Work to longer than expected.
The work done on my bathtub was horrible. I called ben franklin plumbing to replace a bathtub spigot. It cost $410 to replace a spigot that I supplied The technician accidentally broke off too much tile then proceeded to use a LARGE amount of caulk. It looks absolutely hideous. He did a poor job caulking and left large holes. I woke up to a bathtub filled with ants. Contacting customer service did no good, they made no effort to fix the issues, leaving me to have to call another plumber and pay to fix their terrible work Do not use this company, they are horrible and there are plenty of other competent and honest plumbers.
These guys were hired for a job they said would take a week. It was finally done in 6 weeks. They broke a paver and cemented blocks all along the porch. They left large roots coming out of the ground. A less than 30 feet pipe was used, then, quoted, and did not get much of a discount. I was without drainage in a kitchen sink over the Christmas holiday, and then without cold water, because they broke a line. The most horrible plumbing experience I ever had!
Outstanding service. Have told my friends here where I live about this plumbing service.
Efficient, knowledgeable and on time
