    Had vinyl planks and carpet installed, so I had two different installers...The vinyl planks were installed perfectly and he even sanded down the bottom of a door to make it fit...The carpet installers were much slower and job was done but noticed a couple of gouges that that need touch up paint on the walls and base boards... but, overall they came when they said, they finished when they said and we are very happy!

    Dec 3-ripped out carpet installed padding and tack strips. Did not install carpet because installer thought there was something wrong when he used the knee kicker and there were lines in the carpet. After multiple calls to empire finally Tim (carpet installer coordinator) retuned my call and carpet install was scheduled for Dec 10. Did not happen. Tim blamed the guys who returned the carpet from the install- saying they did not return it correctly so the ?system? did not reschedule when he entered the new install date. After many more calls to Tim he promised it would be installed the next day Dec 11 1 installer showed up and said he could not install carpet because he needed 2 people to install on my stairs. Called Tim again several times. He finally called me back and said someone was on their way (10am). He could not give me a window of time when they would arrive. 2 guys arrived close to 2p. At that time the different installer rolled out the carpet and showed me some lines that were running through the carpet. I immediately called Tim. He answered after my second call and said he would get back to me. He did call back in a few minutes encouraging me to have the carpet installed. Installed 4 stairs and stopped work at 3:45. Said they would return in the am Dec 12: They returned the next day, installed a few more steps and said they needed to go to home depot for a nail gun (both guys). Gone over an hour. Ran out of carpet around 3:15. Called Tim several times and he got back to me blaming the sales person for mis measuring. 9 steps not completed Suppose to return next day to complete. No show. Installer called me around 11am and said he would return the following day to completed the job. Tim called me shortly after to confirm I was ?happy? with the installation. I informed him they were not installing the carpet and would come in the morning to complete. Tim new nothing about the change in schedule. Finally the carpet was completed on Dec 14.

    This company installed flooring in late December 2016. Recently one small area under a dresser came up. I called them for a manufacturer warranty since labor warranty has expired, First, they extorted me for $100 for inspection. Second, the inspector took moisture reading and said it was not from moisture as the reading I saw was 0%. They called me 5 days later saying it was reported as 36% moisture. I have photos of subsequent moisture readings too of 0%. This is an unfair and deceptive business practice. Then they claim customer service is important and they will call you back and they never call. They refuse to even let you speak with management.This company is awful to do business with, call someone else. They do not provide any customer service despite their claims that the customer is so important to them and they strive for customer service, that is a huge lie like everything else with them. I have pictures to prove they are lying and they refuse to acknowledge any of it, much less call back.
