Reviews
Write a ReviewThey responded promptly for information, came and installed a new garage door opener the next day, and thoroughly explained how to access the opener in several ways. The company always sends clearly identifiable trucks, emails a picture of who will be coming, and the person arrives in the companyâ s uniform so there is assurance you are meeting their employee. The work was done quickly, professionally, and with the utmost courtesy.
GOOD
Great work in a timely manner.
I was extremely pleased. Awesome job!
Very fast response after inquiry on Angi.
Excellent
Quick service
My garage door torsion spring broke and my cars were stuck inside the garage so I hired Precision Door Service to do the job. Typically a torsion spring replacement should cost $300-$400 in my area including labor as I've had it done on another home recently using another company that was not available for this job. Precision would NOT give me an estimate over the phone, and I asked several times - not even a ball park for a simple torsion spring replacement. Anyway, I felt Precision very much took advantage of me and charged me close to $1000 for just replacing the torsion springs (I have receipts), and made me feel like an idiot for not letting them also replace the rollers on my garage door for close to *another* $900 ! on a garage door that is less than 5 years old and well maintained. The tech was in and out in less than an hour, and the garage door opens and closes just fine - but the cost for the job was outright thievery, they *know* it was thievery, but took advantage of my cars being stuck and them showing up. In hindsight, I should have just told them to get lost but my wife needed to get the kids to their camps and I'm a big believer in happy wife/happy life and all that. Hopefully, this saves others from the remarkably expensive "service" I got from Precision Door Service for a broken torsion spring that according to Angi as well as personal experience on other homes should not have costed even half of what I was charged but I was in a bind and they knew it, and took advantage of it. Shame on them.
Excellent service and wonderful conveyor of knowledge.
Just a good overall experience.
