I found Sun Blue Pools online while searching "top rated pool remodeling companies" in my area. They had good reviews so I set-up an appointment for a quote. This is when I met Paul, one of the owners, who was on time and thorough in reviewing what I wished to achieve with my project. Honestly, I liked him right away and had a good feeling about this company. He had a very detailed and professional quote to me by end of day. Now I had called several other companies to get quotes and this was by far the most detailed and prompt quote I had received - some taking up to 2 weeks with me having to call and ask for it...and one I never received at all. So I knew right away this was a company high on my list. In addition to being very timely and detailed, their pricing was in line with the other four quotes I had received. I had numerous changes to my layout and Paul was very helpful and prompt with getting me an updated quote and sending me names of places both locally and online to get ideas. After finalizing the plans and signing off, I next meet Alan, the other owner. He contacted me with the delivery times of supplies and schedule of work by their team of subcontractors. We had a complete pool remodel including travertine pool deck, resurfacing, tile change, the whole deal...even a couple turtle mosaics in the bottom of the pool. So we had different crews for each phase that specialized in the specific areas of our pool remodel. Each group showed up on time and did an amazing job, paying attention to the details. When one crew finished the next one started pretty much seamlessly. Alan was on site on many occasions ensuring everything went smooth and we were happy ever step of the way. The whole process took about 2 weeks including some delay because of the rain. We even had a small leak that they detected and repaired. After the project was complete they had their pool tech come out to put in chemicals and start the fire-up process...from there the pool cleaner came twice a week to clean and monitor the stucco curing process to ensure the optimum final finish and balance the pH. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alan and Paul and their team of talented professionals. I have worked with may contractors on various projects over the years and Sun Pool Blue was by far the best experience I have ever had. I wish every remodel could go this smooth and on schedule. The project was top notch and the final makeover turned out great!! I would highly recommend Sun Blue Pools to anyone in need of a remodel, as a matter of fact my husband and I have already recommended them to several people!!

They know what they are doing and they showed up when scheduled. New pool lights are beautiful

They did a good job, but they seem to have a problem with communication with the customer. Once the job got started it was done quickly. They delivered what was promised and would use them again if the need arose. Resurface the pool, re-grouted the tile, replaced the filter unit and valves.

While we thought we needed a full resurface and new equipment plus on-going maintenance, it turned out we only needed the weekly maintenance. They offered a very reasonable price for our needs.

From the quote to completion of my job, Sun Blue handled everything with speed, efficiency, and professionalism. Communication from Sun Blue was frequent, and gave me the information I needed. Emails were replied to immediately. The crew was friendly and cleaned up before leaving. Their price was very competitive as well. I really can't think of how this project could have gone better.
