Reviews
Write a ReviewWe hired this company to refinish some wood floors. Customer service and communication were fantastic. I knocked them on work quality bc the workers they had come in to do the work could have been better. They messed up our baseboards and missed a couple spots on the floor. They did have someone come by to touch up what was wrong but it shouldn't come to that point. They were a joy to deal with and very responsive to communication. My hope is they find a different crew to do the work.
Sales person gave me an estimate, we negotiated $230 less, on the day of the installation the installer realised the installation would be different than the work order, and magically the $230 discount disappeared. Was obviously very disappointed, but found another company to do the job for $300 less than Footprints Floors. Don't fall for these guys!
Hello Catherine. I'm so sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with our company. I feel there has been some confusion. The money difference didn't "magically disappear", but rather was due to a change in the product you purchased (known as a change order). This reality was all explained to you that morning. We had quoted to perform a laminate install in your home, but on installation day, we found that you had purchased a prefinished, solid hardwood. Prices for hardwood installation are more expensive than laminate due to the extra labor involved. As discussed that morning, the $230 difference in price was our offer, at cost (normally we charge $1 more for hardwood- so $400ish total extra), to install the hardwood that you had purchased rather than the laminate originally contracted. You had countered with paying $100 more, but we felt that was unfair given the situation. You chose to part ways at that time which we obliged. I hope having this in writing clears up any confusion. Again, we are very sorry for your inconvenience and our apparent lack of adequate communication. I'm glad to hear you were successful in finding an even better deal for your hardwood installation project. We hope you enjoy your new floors for many years.
Our floor was is VERY bad condition with Footprints Floors came to give us an estimate. The sales person was on time, the price was more than fair. When it came time to make the appointment for the work it was easy, scheduled in just a few days. The quality and condition of the work and house are above anything we expected. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Footprints Floors.
Mark was very professional, knowledgeable, responsible, and provided great customer service. They got the job done well in less than 2 days and my floor looks great! I highly recommend Footprints.

From the estimator to the end, they showed up on time as promised and did what they said they would, a big plus right off the bat. They installed laminate and tile floors in our home. They look great. The price was reasonable and the installers were very good. They cleaned up after themselves meticulously and were very pleasant. They worked hard and efficiently. Project managers stopped in daily (though the job was only 3 days). My only concern- with the laminate, there are a couple spots that seem to move or bubble up or sink when you step on them. They tell us this will settle in a few weeks. They did say if it doesn't resolve, they will address, so at this point, I am confident.
Wood flooring looks great. Didn't write finish all details in the time frame given. Not the cheapest company
We built an extension to our kitchen, and chose to utilize laminate flooring. At the point where the two floors meet, there' a "ripple" in the flooring. Jeff came over at the same time the cabinets were being installed and said it's hard to get the floors to meet just right. Everyone who comes over to see the kitchen mentions how the floor feels funny to walk on. What can we do to make it feel right?
The only negative that I have was communicating with the installers. They were very effecant and did a great job.
They matched up old wood to new and refinished the whole floor. It all looked great and no complaints about the crew or the work.
jason and his crew were friendly' and the work was done on time and I was very pleased with the outcome
