Reviews
Write a ReviewGreat communication and professional throughout. Very flexible when we needed to discuss some changes. The end result was exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely recommend!
Miron was awesome to deal with; very professional and the workmanship was stellar.
We hired Eminent to take out our old, cracked, pitted, concrete driveway, walkway and back step and replace all of it with pavers. The price was fair and the project was quick, even with a rain interruption. The transformation is amazing and I am very glad I got over my fear of this big project and chose them!
We are so very happy with our back yard pavers. Mark was so easy to work with and made sure we were happy with the progress every day of our 1 week project. We originally wanted stamped concrete but after Mark showed us the samples of pavers and the combination of the 2 colors, we were hooked. Our back yard went from ugly to demo to beautiful and useable. No more mud and stubbed toes. We had a few snags that were addressed and fixed right away. Overall I would recommend Eminent Construction to my friends and family and plan to get in touch with them again for our next project.
I initially contacted Eminent for an estimate to install a side walkway and small patio in my backyard. After reviewing their Website I was so impressed with their work I decided to ask for an additional estimate to include an additional back patio and complete demo and installation of my driveway. The price was so competitive I went for it. I find Eminent to be nothing but a top notch professional company with a dedicated, hardworking staff. I will re-hire them for any Construction needs.
Great polite workers who work fast, with persicion and leave thier work space clean. Thanks for making my yard beautiful. Happy wife, happy life! 藍
The end product was merely adequate. I was hit with an $850 change order (17% of the entire project) for asking that the edge of the concrete meet edge of the asphalt at a straight rather than jagged edge. Finally, the owner tried twice to collect the last payment (a cashier's check no less) before the surface was finished being troweled. I would not use them again or recommend them to others. UPDATE on 11/21/18 -- the garage floor is CRACKING despite being misted daily for the first two weeks after their pour. I have dropped my review to 1 star in each category due to this.
It is unfortunate and surprising to read that you are not satisfied with the work we did on your property since you approved the quality of it when we completed construction. Your review also represents misleading information. The change order of $850 was for materials used for extra work you have requested during construction of your driveway. This extra work was beyond the scope of work we were contracted to do; however, and out of courtesy, we provided you with such services (labor) free of charge. The only thing you were charged with is the extra material that was used for the additional work requested. Our crew worked diligently and until very late hours to complete the extra work you requested and did not leave until everything was completed and you have approved the quality of such.
They did a great job. They worked with me and performed the work quickly.
Mark was a real pro from the start of this project until the end. He was always accessible and answered every question I had. He explained the process and time table and he and his team executed the plan to perfection. I told him what I had in mind for my patio/yard and he made it happen. His foreman and the workers were also great to work with. Kudos to the entire Eminent Construction team.
While many companies can brag about how great their pricing or work is, what is just as important is how they handle something the customer isn't satisfied with. We had a somewhat small backyard redo and unforeseen for us was the requirement for concrete footings for a pergola which we hadn't received yet but on the fly had to estimate where they would go. Since we were doing pavers, we needed to have the footings in prior to the pavers and that presented a challenge. Mark, the owner made himself available not only during the install (when he was done with our project) but also stopped by during the construction of the pergola. He even came back to our home to insure that we have ample footings to connect one of the bolts that we were unable to install due to the footing being off by a inch or so. In addition, while no concrete is w/o cracks all the time, we ran into especially hot weather and despite insuring as best he could the concrete being the right consistency for a small side run, it developed some cracks that I wasn't happy with. Mark asked me about how I wanted to handle it and readily agree to replace it w/o any hassles. So, in the end both me and my wife were very happy about the overall workmanship, pricing and more important the support that Mark gave us not only during the project but on a come back to address an issue. I will recommend Eminent and Mark's professionalism for ANY paver job that friends and family need help on.
