    I ordered window blinds for all of my windows in April, 2021. I was told it would take about six weeks and possibly less. My blinds were finally installed August 3! While I was waiting I tried many times to reach the sales person(Kevin True) And both the Seattle and Chicago headquarters. I left numerous voicemails and NEVER received a call back. On two different occasions, when I called, I did speak to two different people in Seattle, but neither were able to answer my questions. One of them was willing to listen to me and did send an email to someone in authority. Mid July I received an email indicating that my blinds were on the way to the installer. I was happy with the person who measured my windows (not Kevin) And I was very pleased with the actual two-man crew that installed my blinds. (They are not employed by Empire, but are contractors.) Fortunately the blinds appear to be of good quality and work well. My complaint is with the customer service. Also, the installers (at the instruction of Empire!) were not allowed to install, or even bring the blinds into my house, until I had paid in full. I think it is wrong to insist on payment in full until customer satisfaction has been determined. I will NEVER use this company again, and I am hesitant to use home advisor again.

    I always recommended them and they were good because the installation was done. I cannot get a refund on my down payment. Absolutely no customer service. I made a complaint with BBB.

    I personally called Mohawk for obtaining the match of the flooring I wanted to extend throughout the house. I would expect the flooring company to do that.
