Write a ReviewThey were a little pushy on the phone, but did give us a discount to get us to hire them. They were quick to get out to the house to do the work. Gutters were cleaned well. The only problem is they didn't do the best job cleaning up afterwards. There was dirt/leaves stuck to a our backdoor and to a couple windows. Overall not a bad job, but when there are multiple other businesses who do the same thing, Ned Stevens didn't really set themselves apart.
They came out and did the work. They did it quickly.
Very fast phone response
Requested company to tack gutter back onto fascia board. Customer service sold 'gutter cleaning' which apparently came with my requested service built in. Almost impossible to get confirmation on when service visit would occur; rep on phone was extremely rude about not wanting to endanger lives on wet roof despite my saying there was no rain in Atlanta, regardless of what her screen was showing. When crew arrived, work was completed and door hanger left (I was home for entire duration) with a note saying "problems found by foreman" and when I called company, I was presented with an entire list of issues and the BEST part... the fascia board was rotting but they NAILED THE GUTTER BACK (AS A FAVOR!!) instead of asking what I would like to do. The very service I contacted the company for was treated as a pesky issue because the big bucks apparently is in removing stains off the shingles, because THAT was the disaster I needed to be saved from!! Nice.

The professionals at Ned Stevens identified and fixed my gutter problem quickly and with quality. I now have a maintenance contract with them!
Kept changing appointments
Ray, can you please send your information to outreach@nedstevens.com so a manager can follow up with you about this review... We have been working 7 days a week and working every day the weather has allowed us to do so. We unfortunately cant work when the weather doesn't allow.
This is my first winter in my new house and forgot to clean the gutters. So, I was initially very impressed and relieved that Homeadvisor connected me with someone so quickly on a Sunday. We talked about the coming snow storm and the need to get the gutters cleaned before that happened. However, no one showed up. I'm now left with gutters packed with leaves and ice and worried about the ice dam causing leaks. What started out great has now left me with a problem that may turn out to be very expensive. I'll hope for the best but, feel quite letdown by this company not following through.
Steve, a manager will be following up with you on this shortly... We have been working every day the weather has allowed us too. Unfortunately your area has been very cold with snow conditions that make it impossible to clean gutters for anyone. The second the weather permits we will have crews out on the road cleaning gutters. There is no correlation between a clogged gutter and an Ice Damn, a home with brand new clean gutters can still get an ice damn.
They can out did the work in the rain and I was able to sell the house, should have let them wash the house to.
They were fast and did a good job. It was a little weird that they do not actually allow you to schedule your service (They schedule you based on crew availabilities), but they claim to generally are able to complete the job within a few days of the service, which is consistent with our experience.
They put the leaves into black plastic bags that our Township wouldn’t take. They should have been put into a biodegradable bag. Still they were fast responding and I think did a good job otherwise.
