Encapsulated our crawlspace last year and needed the dehumidifier checked. Service was very quick. Seth came today, very professional and efficient. explained everything thoroughly. Answered all questions. As always very happy with the company!

Everyone I worked with was professional and courteous. The initial inspection was thorough and the estimation was detailed and covered several options. The office staff worked with me to get the job rescheduled after many days of rain , which of course flooded the crawlspace. The installation crew were prompt and kept me informed of the work progress and then went over all the work and provided pictures of the work that was not visible from the access doors. Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair did an amazing crawl space encapsulation job at my house. Iâ ve been planning to combat the moisture problem in the crawlspace for the last three years. I obtained 6 bids and a lot of diverse recommendations on the best approach that should be used in solving the problem. After counseling with James City County and a structural engineer, I decided to go with Bay Crawlspace because their approach closely aligned with the independent advice I received. Additionally, they also offered financing options that helped us manage the monthly expense budget. They worked with the County on obtaining work permits, came in completed the work within the timeframe they promised and left the area clean of all debris. Since the install last year, I have had the pleasure of meeting their Field Manager Seth Lilienthal who performed the annual preventative maintenance. He checked the entire system, cleaned filters and changed batteries out to ensure that the system continued to run effectively and efficiently. In summary, as a homeowner, Iâ ve learned that you get what your pay for. The cheapest vendor may actually be the worst. Bay crawlspace and foundation were professional and friendly in every phase of our crawlspace repair. I initially called Bay for a quote about the condition of humidity in our crawlspace. They sent out Beau who was great to work with as he walked us through his process. What I especially liked about Beau was that he was open and honest about what could be fixed and what didn't need to be fixed. Beau went into the crawlspace, measured our foundation, and took ample pictures in order to accurately describe the condition We had an initial quote from a competing company come out that quoted us an insane amount without going under the house, doing any measuring or even opening the crawlspace door. Beau outlined his process of potential repairs with a reasonable price through various options that fit our needs. Beau was also patient with us throughout all of our questions. We decided to go with Bay and do not regret it. The office immediately called us and scheduled the first day for repairs. We were scheduled only a short time after our quote and I appreciated the transparency about their availability even during this terrible pandemic. The crew arrived early the morning of our schedule day and discussed with us everything that we agreed on. The crew was incredibly hard working, efficient, and professional. James and D.L. didn't stop until the job was complete and kept me informed about adjustments and how the progress was going. After the work was finished my wife and I checked out the crawlspace and it is flawless. We had problems with sitting water not flowing to the sump pump and now we have no sitting water and the humidity in the crawl space is low. Overall we are very happy with the work and would recommend Bay Crawlspace.

After conducting our due diligence, we hired Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair last year to address moisture control, water management, and structural issues in our crawl space. We just had our first annual inspection and were totally impressed with the customer service, professionalism, knowledge , and attention to detail exhibited by the Field Manager, Seth Lilienthal. Prior to beginning the inspection, he explained exactly what he was going to do and, when the inspection was completed, he confirmed that everything was working as it should be. He also confirmed that he cleaned the filters in the dehumidifiers and that he changed the batteries in both hygrometers and sensors. I wanted to take a moment and thank all of the Bay Crawlspace staff for a phenomenal job done under my house to include a French drain and a vapor barrier. From the initial assessment I was well informed and updated regularly about what all would be done and the time frame in which it would be completed. I must say that I am impressed with the four gentlemen that came out today; Marcus, Austin, Troy, and Shannon were on time, professional, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful! While completing my project they found that I had a broken sewage pipe, they took pictures and notified me immediately. They were able to send me the pics through email which allowed me to send to my plumber. I was able to have the problem corrected all in the same day. I appreciate all their hard work and taking the time to make sure the job was done correctly! Thank you for a job well done!

Bay Crawlspace did a great job identifying and repairing several issues in our crawlspace. The initial inspection was thorough and the recommended solution was spot on. Art and his crew did an excellent job in conducting the repairs. Especially liked the post repair inspection process, which identified several minor issues, which were rectified in a timely manner. We used this company to correct some foundation issues, install support pillars under the exterior portion of our fireplace, install a dehumidifier, install flood vents that are up to code, and place a moisture barrier in the crawlspace. Bay was extremely responsive and communicated well. They were timely and never tried to push or sell us something we didn't need. Dave came out to inspect and address our initial concerns. Chris made sure we were properly informed of any changes or reasons why something was done in a matter that we were concerned about. The team that came out to perform the work were Stefan (Foreman), Adian (probably misspelled his name), and Floyd. Stefan was very professional, communicated with us about what was happening and the timeline of the project, and addressed our concerns directly or contacted the office so that we had accurate answers. All three guys were hard workers, kind, respectful of our property, and had great communication skills. They even cleaned up after themselves to include sweeping out the crawlspace when the job was complete. We will definitely use Bay again should we have any future foundation or crawlspace issues.
