Write a ReviewExcellent contractor - follows up does good work!
they were great.
Great responsiveness from the owner. However, I was not impressed with the service. Was a very expensive repair relative to the industry average. This was a capacitor replacement—but no confirmation on that it was correct replacement in kind part—the clip didn’t even fit around the Capacitor. I asked for an invoice but never received one. I expect a high price from businesses that have a high overhead (trucks, commercials, uniforms). The tech that came out didn’t have a uniform, name badge, and was driving a pickup truck without markings. If the cost of the repair was lower than the industry average, I would have been happier—in this case: I don’t know if the tech was qualified, whether he put the correct part in, and no invoice. Beware: just call a local company they you see advertised, you’ll probably get better service for a better price.
Mr. S. [Consumer name withheld at their request], the $185.00 charge is a normal charge on replacing the capacitor. The technician had just put his service truck in for maintenance and drove his personal vehicle to you to get you up and going. I assure you the correct part was installed. Capacitors change size of dimensions very often. Different companies make different size capacitors and we can only purchase what is sold by vendors. A paid invoice was emailed out that evening. It obviously wasn't received but I assure you I will send you one this evening. Thank you for your feedback as it helps us to strive to be better each day.
***Not sure the diagnosis was correct.
I would definitely use this company again. Chris and his crew did exactly what they said they would do, on time and for the price he quoted. Very happy customers!
Contacted me shortly after initial Home Advisor submission. Came before requested date and that was greatly appreciated. Definitely seemed to know his stuff.
We hired this company to do the HVAC in a new home we built. He skinned back the quality every step of the way and even balked at putting in the vents for the bathrooms. Said it wasn't his job. I asked him what the "V" stood for in HVAC??? He did an AC compressor replacement at our restaurant for $15,000 saying it was hit with lightening. Four months later, it went down again. He said that, as incredible as it might be, lightening struck again! He wanted another $15,000. I hired a different AC guy who repaired a mis-wired connection and charged us $240.00. Sorry to come down on this guy but those are the facts.
Mr.Durney, I typically do not respond to reviews but in this case I feel the need to. This job was completed in April of 2017 and you want to write a review. The "compressor " you mentioned was not just a compressor. This was a 7.5 ton 208/230 volt 3 phase gas package unit. The unit was replaced at a price of $15,500.00. This price included the equipment, and a crane on site to remove the equipment. There was an issue that did take a couple of trips to find but, it was found and the unit had worked flawlessly for several months. You called me after a severe storm to tell me the unit stopped in the storm. I said I sure hope it was not struck by lightening.
Quick response to initial call, installation happened the very next day. First call to Chris after installation was met with an immediate response. Follow up calls regarding some cleanup/ touchup have not been taken care of as of this review. Still waiting minor issues to be resolved. Overall would recommend.
.
Quick response to initial contact thru home advisor. And were on the job in less than 18 hours of initial contact.
