Write a ReviewVery professional, informative, and courteous.
The noise we were hearing evidently was nothing to be concerned about. He did a check on the unit and cleaned it and charge was fair.
tech came out looked at the unit determined what it needed and fixed it in a timely manner.
This job was completed in January, multiple problems found one hinged on the other.,charged for parts only ,no mark up no labor. Sorry you didn't have a good experience. Technician was released after the fact as well. But thanks for your feedback 6 months after the fact.
first techs out fixed problem within an hour, did not solve long term issue, called next morning and tech came out that evening, fixed completely!
Very honest service and fair price
Very friendly and described everything in detail that was wrong
Once I completed the search on Home Advisor, I received three very prompt calls from the service providers. I scanned their ratings and was satisfied with the first one who called so I selected them. They gave service the very morning I used this service. Very slick!
The tech that came out, Joe, was very nice. The problem was with the owner. We were confirmed by Home Advisor, and Chris Foster himself via telephone. No one showed up at the confirmed (?) time. I called both the cell phone of Chris Foster, and the office number, and there were only answering machines. This was an hour and fifteen minutes after sitting here waiting, even though we had errands to do. I called back and left a message on Mr. Foster's cell phone that if he wasn't coming, that he could at least show me the courtesy of calling me back and telling me so. I finally received a call almost two hours after my scheduled appointment, and he said that they were running behind at some lady's house who had no heat. I was also told that he did in fact call me back, got the answering machine here at my house just when he was receiving an incoming call. Well, duh, you can't take the call and call someone back? What is wrong with these men who could care less that a CUSTOMER is sitting there waiting on them, putting their day on hold?? What happened to common courtesy?? I have been in business all my life, and I have NEVER left a customer sitting somewhere waiting on me without a phone call stating why. And, I have had to stop at pay phones to do it when there were no cell phones!! Anyway, when he finally called back, he said that his guy (Joe) was on the way in about 30 to 45 minutes. This turned into 1 hour and 45 minutes before Joe showed up. He looked at our unit and said the bearings were going bad, and if Chris Foster had provided him with our phone number, he could have diagnosed it over the phone, and would not have had to drive all the way here from Spartanburg. Well, I am so sorry about that. Looks like bad communication on the part of management again. You will never be hired again by me or my family. At this rate, I am not sure about using Home Advisor again, because this guy had top ratings. If this is the top, I'd hate to see the bottom. Sorry Joe, nothing against you.
I'm sorry you feel this way,but many factors go into lining up appointments and altering schedules. Yes we had a elderly customer with no heat and we're attempting to get this taken care of. I personally tried to contact you and got answering machines also. Since this is a public stage for you to attempt to bash me on let me fill you in on what you don't know that happened that morning as well. My wife had to be rushed in for emergency surgery, my technician that came to you was attempting to get you taken care of as well as being a personal friend to me in the moments of tough decisions that I had to make concerning my wife. There is so much more to this than meets the eye and I felt no need to attempt to go into all of it on the phone when I called you and might I add was very apologetic for us being behind schedule and I understand your being upset about that, but I also had something very tragic going on in my life at the moment and certainly didn't feel as if that needed to be divulged over the phone to a perfect stranger. I'm sorry we were running behind schedule and that your experience wasn't as good as it could or should have been, but again there were some extenuating circumstances that were and still are unknown. Sorry again for being late to you,but being on the phone or by my wife's side is a decision I will make every time the same way. Thank you, Chris Foster 864 809-4836
Joe was very prompt and explained everything that he was doing. He was able to locate the problem and fix it in a timely manner. Also gave me some idea of cost on some up coming projects that I will be doing in my home.
Technician went above and beyond to make the repair right. Highly recommend
