Reviews
Write a ReviewVery unprofessional. Left me high and dry on a Friday. Water off, hole in wall. Communication from supervisor Eric unreal... Never called once! I called him 4 times. Owner basically told me to kick rocks and find another company. If being treated like crap is your cup of tea.... Choose tipping hat
Very professional and great communication. Pricing is good and workmanship great
Troy Hagaman was my service pro. He was excellent! He was friendly, courteous, and professional. He assessed problems and gave me a thorough understanding of the work that was needed - then accomplished that work professionally and in a timely manner. I can't say enough about the high quality of his customer service!
Runs late to appointments.
Very professional and courteous.
Diane came out to prepare and estimate and after deciding on her bid they found an immeadiate time period for installation. I was very fortunate as my water heater had started leaking. Sean and James came out within 4 hours of accepting Tipping Hats bid they did a great job in installing. Clean, quick and apparently very efficient.
Outstanding service.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TIPPING HAT. POOR SCHEDULING AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT WILL RESULT IN HEADACHES AND COST IMPACTS ON YOUR NEXT PROJECT. My wife and I bought our first house in 2018 with the full intention of making it our dream house. When we saved up enough money, we decided it was time to remodel the kitchen. We contracted out Tipping Hat to complete the necessary electrical infrastructure and modifications necessary to make our kitchen a reality. Billy Wright was our project supervisor who provided the original bid. Our project took several months to complete from demolition to completion. During that time, two electricians came out a handful of times to perform electrical tasks per the understood project scope of work. On multiple occasions, the electricians told us that they would be back to complete the next task. At no point in time during the remodel did Billy come out to the project to see it or address concerns over the scope of work that was on the contract. The electricians did not express any concerns that their work was not per the contract. On the week of December 14, 2020, we received multiple phone calls from Tipping Hats dispatch, saying they needed to schedule an **inspection** to close out the contract (the work had been completed on September 29, 2020). After 4 voicemails in 4 days in a row, I questioned if we could defer this inspection to the new year to enable us to be quarantined for the appropriate time to see my wifes grandparents before Christmas. They insisted that their employees were not going to be paid until this inspection be completed. I wanted to ensure those individuals had the money for their families for Christmas, so we scheduled the inspection for December 22, 2020. Billy Wright and the electricians showed up at our house to perform a walkthrough. Billy then came to my wife and told her that we owed Tipping Hat another $6,875 for **out-of-scope work** that was completed. Any sensible project manager (DIY or not) would understand that it is the responsibility of the subcontracted program manager to enforce what work is in scope or not. It seems that Billys insufficient communication and management of the team resulted in a project overrun that management is seeking for him to remedy. TIPPING HAT CAME AFTER US TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE AND THEY WILL GO AFTER YOU.
Outstanding service. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Quick, professional.
