Reviews
Write a ReviewPrompt, competent and reasonably priced. I will use them in the future.
This company provided the old bait and switch. They quote you one price, then hit you with hidden fees. I would not use them ever again.
Very professional.
Very fast to make the appointment - they confirmed there are no overtime rates for Saturdays. I told them exactly what the issue was and where the leak was. We had already done the pre-work and merely wanted a licensed gas technician to tighten the piping according to code. The technician arrived at site and their front office was extremely good at updating me before their arrival. However, then came the shock. A bill of more than $400 for the diagnostic and less than 2 hours on site labor only. Great and polite service but fees are a shock and no disclosure until they were already onsite. I am an existing customer so this was a shock and unfortunately I will not use them again. I reviewed by bill for the less than 2 hours visit and see why I had thought it was only going to be $179 (which I thought was high but ok for their service as it was timely and they kept you informed). The bill (for a gas diagnostic) was 279, he then decided to change it to 479 and the overlap of the 4 and 2 made it look like 179. I guess he decided the address needed a higher charge than what he was originally going to charge.
Reliable, efficient and knowledgeable about the work.
Excellent work with great customer service.
They did a good job.
Home Service Doctors (HSD) sent a technician, John Deslauriers (JD), to respond to my request for photos and inspection of the crawl space of my house. It was not the type of work that HSD does but after JD talked with the HSD dispatcher, he agreed to take numerous photos of the crawl space and show them to me and review what he saw. He did that on October 8, 2019. He took 101 photos and he showed them to me, pointing out the concerns and problems he saw in the crawlspace. He said he would send me the photos. At this point I was happy to get a clear picture of what was going on in my crawl space. A few days later JD did send a set of the 101 photos but only about 65 by emails. I complained through the HSD operator that I did not get them all. JD later sent 83 via Google Photos. I distinctly remember a couple of the photos shown to me by JD, 10/9/19, indicating minor but noticeable water damage on a couple of fixtures in the crawl space. These were not in the set of 83 photos I did receive. I passed on my complaint about not getting all the photos to the HSD operator and then to Brian (?), the dispatcher. Brian said by phone he would have JD send the complete set of photos on a flash drive via mail. As of November 9, 2019 I have not received the flash drive or the complete set of photos. Along the way I left a couple of more messages with the HSD operator. HSD just cannot get its act together.
