Home Service Doctors is truly an all pro company. Kathy and Kayla the dispatchers and Damien the technician are the consummate professionals. Damien arrived and quickly put my mind at ease with the extensive knowledge of what he needed to do to identify where my gas supply line was leaking. He quickly did a thorough check of all our plumbing in our home and then gave us recommendations with options on how we want to proceed. He was able to find and repair the gas leak in a very reasonable time. Damien is a highly skilled and competent technician who I will gladly recommend. Throughout his work he was also very friendly.

The 'tech' who came to my home did not know how to troubleshoot my system. He was on the phone most of the time getting support from (presumably) another tech while working on my system, which was misdiagnosed anyway. I was also helping him, making suggestions on how to remove the control card/board, as it was obvious to me he did not have the necessary experience. A new transformer was installed, which did not fix the problem. Although typical cost of a transformer is $20-$25, I was charged $165 (an ~800% markup!) - and I helped him with the labor, as it was obvious he didn't have the experience necessary to work on my system. I hired another company, only to find out the control card itself needed to be replaced (NOT THE TRANSFORMER), and that the old transformer was STILL GOOD. They also quoted me a price of more than $800 to install a control card. When I googled the part number, I found normal price for the control card was ~$100, so yet ANOTHER 800% markup! Needless to say, I stopped there, and have been trying to get a refund for the shoddy work done, but the Customer Service Manager has only returned one of my phone calls, failed to come to my house to confirm what I've reported is true (as he said he would), and has thus far not returned my money (as he said he would). Although I spoke to the Service Manager on the phone ONE TIME, he never called again, nor has he returned any of my other calls requesting a refund, even though he told me during our one & only conversation that he would give me a refund. I am still trying to get a refund. BECAUSE OF THIS FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE, I WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY TO DO ANYTHING IN MY HOME AGAIN!
