I called Dove and Bill came out to give me an estimate to remove a portion my wood stairs (just the bottom), then replace (in order to get my new queen box spring upstairs) and make the opening of my closet bigger (about 20in), drywall, frame and install the doors. I had to buy the doors and track and if, I wanted them to paint it would be an extra fee. Bill said that if they did all the work at once that he would discount the work versus, if I had them to do the work separately. I had to wait a week to be scheduled. During that week, I sent door options for the closet, because I wanted to make sure that we had everything that was needed and was told by Lita (the wife) that she was going to speak with Jerry about the options I sent. When I called back, she said that everything was fine; the guys will go to the store and get what they need to make it work. Once the guy arrived (which was Bill's brother) he said the my steps were put in very good and he didnÂ’t feel comfortable with taking it apart and being able to put the steps back sturdy. He then goes to home depot comes back and tells me that the doors I need are special order doors, they are 32X80 interior bypass doors. I told him, home depot has them in stock, because I checked when I sent Lita the information. Then he says that Bill didn't write anything about drywall, mudding & taping the closet. I said the estimate said framing, and painting, how you can paint something that has no wall. He said he couldn't reach Bill. I couldn't reach anyone in the office. Bottom line, he left without doing ANY work. When I finally reached Jerry he told me, he was just talking to the contractor, this was at 9:00 on Friday. Jerry didn't call me back until 4:00 in the afternoon (after I left several messages). And he called only to say sorry, Bill messed up, he did not know what he was talking about, he will call you, we couldn't reach him. Bill final calls me on Monday at 4:30pm to say, bottom line, they didn't want to take down the stairs unless they charged me $1800 and then wanted to charge me $1100 for the closet. His original estimate was $900 which included everything, but that the contractor doing the work and the office thought I should pay more. He's sorry, he was overruled. I don't have a problem with a company charging whatever their rates/prices are, they have that right. But to give an estimate, then to just be so bias and be willing to lie and be so disingenuous speaks volumes to their character. Good luck with using their services, I hope you look right for them and Bill gets it right for you. But I'm glad that I found out prior to them doing any work on my property.

This is a very customer friendly company. They arrived when they said would and went right to work repairing my sidewalk. I plan on using them again to replace the shower door in my master bath, and any other "Honey Do" projects my Wife has in mind.

I had them come out to repair my siding. I realized after it was done that the piece they used was not correct. Causing it to flap in the wind. They will not answer the phone and I have to pay someone else to fix it.
