Write a ReviewThey were here about 30 minutes and did not appear to flush out the down spouts. They blew debri all over the deck out back and in the pool.

They were very pushy - from their first phone call, they were just shy of badgering me into retaining their service. I was trying to get other quotes when I reached out - and from about 20 minutes after my call - I was inundated with emails from them. I went with them because Home Advisor didn’t have a lot of other options to choose from. The two men who showed to do the work were just shy of rude - short, abrupt, and kept me outside as they discussed how to get started. After the service, they left a note on my door saying there was an issue that I needed to call in about. Upon calling, the person on the phone was quite rude (it’s all in the tone) - the first thing he tells me is that they’re going to up the price next time based on the size of my house - even though I was very up front about the size and amount of gutters during the phone estimate. Then he proceeds to tell me very quickly 4 or 5 issues with the house - barely taking a breath as he did so. I tried to take down as much as I could, and even though I speak fairly fast, I couldn’t keep up because the topic isn’t something I’m familiar with. He then goes on to tell me that I need an entire new gutter system and that it will be $1700. I asked him to please send me an invoice via email with these issues and the price so that I could discuss with my husband. He was very rude about the request — seemed shocked that I just didn’t hire them straight away. A few days later - I received the quote but zero mention of what these supposed issues were. Low and behold, I had someone come out and give me a second opinion. While there were a few things that needed repairs, they informed me that the need to completely replace was ridiculous. I wouldn’t use this company again, and with the treatment I received from beginning to end, I was very disappointed that Home Advisor recommmended them at all. I was so frustrated by the whole experience that I’ve taken a few weeks just to make sure that I could calmly recount everything.
I spoke with Steve late on Friday afternoon and the Ned Stevens crew surprised us by arriving next day around noon to clean the gutters, in the rain, even though there was no immediate need. Although I liked their responsiveness, they refused to tell me their schedule in advance. I wasn't able to be there when they did the work. I did not like their policy of full payment in advance, particularly as a new customer. I chose this company over others because their cleaning service includes tightening gutters and restrapping downspouts. However, I was informed after the fact that they were unable to tighten our style of gutters and we should hire a roofer. Our gutters now seem to be clean and working well. One bent gutter was straightened. We appreciated the extra effort to replace some of our plastic gutter guards that were removed last year.
I paid an exceptionally high price for same day service. Other than that, service was good.

Great company, very professional. Showed up on time and did a great Job. I will be definitely using them in the future.
They were easy to hire and the gutters are working like they are supposed to again.
The were very thorough and the finished product was outstanding
