Reviews
Write a ReviewHe was prompt and friendly.
This was a very good experience. Dan called before the appointment and was professional and courteous
This was a very good experience. Dan called before the appointment and was professional and courteous, letting me know who would be coming to install the fans. The installer, Jose, was friendly, professional, thorough and conscientious. He did a great job and complete clean up. I would definitely hire Sevan Electrical again and I will always ask for Jose, if he is available.
Dan called to see if he can come out a day early which we were very happy about. Went directly to the problem and had it taken care of in 5 minutes.
Very friendly and professional. Went out of the way to help and inform me. Good company.
Super nice people and very good quality work. On time and friendly however very overpriced. A visit/quote fee of $85 was included in the bill when they only came one time to perform work and 4.5 hours of $85/hour rate magically rounded itself up to 5 hours in the bill. The estimate was also $150 less than the actual bill.
My appointment was scheduled for an early morning. When they had not arrived an hour and 15 minutes after the scheduled time i called the office. After several call I was told the tech was indisposed then the tech called and that he id not have a time on the work order and the tech went to another job. The tech called and said he could be at my home between these times-4 hours and 30 minutes after my scheduled time. Then the tech had to leave and purchase parts. I had received the day before a reminder that my appointment was at this time. for what i was charged I find this unacceptable.
They did a great job. On time, on price.
Sevan Electrical was prompt, thorough and efficient. I was able to schedule the work within an hour of putting in a request. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and were accurate in the estimate of cost on project. I will definitely use them on my next home reno project.
They charged me $85 to come out per visit, and $85 per hour plus a 25% markup on any materials they have to buy. Since I was physically at work, so I had to have another adult stay at my home. The technician dragged the work on for 8 hours after I was advised by Dan before the job started that what his technician had to do shouldn't take more than three hours at best. I inquired as to why I wasn't contacted when the technician felt it would take longer than 4 hours. Mr. Dan said that the tech got the okay to move forward by the adult in the house, and "they don't care who it is." --that was ludicrous! (basically any person off the street can authorize work in your house) And what makes matters worse is that they didn't finish what I hired them for, and charged me for another full day stating that "when the technician has to investigate the problem it sometimes takes longer." --Summary: 1. They never completed everything that I asked for in the long run. 2. With all the bragging about his crews vast years of knowledge, Mr. Dan clearly showed me that they don't know everything about electricity otherwise it wouldn't take them so long! 3. The owner Dan while initially came across as a very kind and diligent, ended up taking advantage of a situation and twists matters to justify costs. He is a salesman and very argumentative! 4. The invoices were unreadable and overcharged on materials, so break out the calculator before you pay! 5. They only take checks and cash...(poor IRS). Be forewarned that if you decide to ignore my rating and hire them, just be sure you are the one watching them closely so that your 3 to 4 hour job doesn't turn into over 16 hours of billing.
Am not sure if you were our customer or not. However; If you were; We charge for work finished and in place, labor, trip charge and material cost. We ALWAYS state upfront what the costs are prior to beginning the work. Either by estimate or hourly and never proceed with any work without authorization to do so. We work as efficently as humanly possible. Given conditions that are pre-existing; When we troubleshot, we arent magicians and have to find the problem, the cause, and make corrective actions to solve it permenately. I truely am sorry you feel this way and trash our company however its your right to have an opinion even if it isn't accurate! We offer competative pricing for labor, materials etc and do not price gouge anyone. Our integrity remains intact!
