Responded almost immediately . Booked a 4pm appointment . By 4:15 no show , no call . I called and he apologized that he had subcontracted the job out . The guy never showed . We rebooked and he came personally 3 days later. Very apologetic....

Ken was recommended by Home Advisor. He returned my call immediately and was at my home as promised in the afternoon. It was two days before Christmas and he understood my urgency to have my oven repaired. He is a pleasant guy and he was a life saver. His price was not outrageous and was well worth it. The only reason I am rating the value for my money at 4 stars is because I have no idea how much it woulld have cost had I been able to get quotes from other companies. I would highly recommend him to everyone and would definitely call him again if needed.

He quoted me a charge of $65.00 to come out and look at the problem with my oven plus parts. After he looked at my oven he told me that the burner had to be replaced and it would cost $225.00 He left the old part, so I checked with Amazon and found that it was an igniter and not a burner and it could be purchases for $26.95. It took him less than five minutes to install and it was installed with two small screws and two wires that had to be installed and less than five minutes of labor. He collected $189. for this service.. When he left I made the mistake of giving him a good review
Response from Company:
I did the best I could with what I had to do. I do not work for free and next time call a larger company. I have worked for larger companies and number 1 they make you wait at least a week, number 2 they give you a 4 hour window for you to sit home and wait and number 3 they definitely charge more than I do. Next time you have a problem diagnose the problem, buy the part and repair the appliance. That's the only way you are going to pay $26.95 to fix an appliance. I really am sorry you were not satisfied with my service. I try to please all my customers to the best of my ability.

Overcharges. expect minimum of 150 charge even there is 5 min job. Told me part cost 100 which is only a 10 dollar part. He did not even had to do anything to diagnose since I told him what exactly was happening with my dryer. He knew what part was needed without opening anything but he did not told me that when I explained my issue on the phone. Once you call, you are either stuck paying minimum charge of 65 if you don't hire him or pay more than 150 for any work. You are kind of put in a corner since you have to 65 anyway, you have to hire him to get the job done for additional money
Response from Company:
It still amazes me that some of the customers think I should work for free. There are no surprises, I tell each customer over the phone that there is a diagnosis fee and if they still want me to repair the appliance I don't fix it for free. When you call one of the bigger companies you agree to pay their charge and then you need to pay them if you want it fixed. What difference does it make how long it takes me to fix the problem, I don't work by the hour, I work by the repair. I am sorry you were not happy with the repair and will make sure I don't service you in the future. I stand behind all my work.

Ken called me back right away and he was at my home within 2 hours. He fixed my dryer without having to order any parts, so I was able to do laundry that next day after it broke. What a great experience!

Ken was quick in responding but his knowledge is lacking. I hired Ken to fix a front loading washing machine, which he was supposed to be a certified repairman. After the first visit I put in 2 loads of laundry and in the rinse cycle of the 2nd load it stopped working. Ken was called, he came back several days later. He was in and out very quickly, I really wasn't able to even ask what he did. I put a load of laundry in and it never made it thru the rinse cycle and stopped working. I have since called Ken requesting a refund of at least 1/2 of the $150 he charged, to date no response
