I told Gilbert that my refrigerator was 9 year old and therefore I did not want to spend more than $200 to repair it. He said that he charges only $49 to give an estimate. He replaced defrost sensor for $140. Refrigerator was still not cooling. The repairman returned and said that now the defrost heater was bad that will cost another $500 and advised not to fix it. Gilbert agreed to refund $140, less the trip charge of $49 for initial estimate. It has been over a month and in spite of my repeated calls Gilbert has not refunded my money.
Response from Company:
We tried very hard for Cust and refunded full amount of 148.00, but Cust wants us to do total repair of 500 for free. We thank him for the business and told him we cannot do that. In return we have a bad review. We take great pride in our reviews but cannot do work for free.

Gilbert was fast at getting in contact with me. When he arrived and looked at my washer he turned it on and right away knew what was wrong. Told me a fair price in my opinion to fix my problem which was better than having to buy a new washer. Fixed it in about an hour and was back to being able to do laundry at home.

Gilbert called within 5 minutes of my posting a request for assistance. While he volunteered to service the need over the Holiday weekend, we scheduled for Tuesday, so as not to inconvenience anyone from a family opportunity. The service tech (Ben?) was right on time, courteous and professional. He diagnosed the issue and completed the repair in less than an hour. I will use this company for any/all appliance repairs required in the future.
