    I guess that it would have been okay if my stove would have been able to be fixed. I have no problem spending the 50 for an estimate if I was actually getting an estimate. My stoves part is no longer made, which is in no way there fault, but $50 to tell me they cant fix it is a little steep. I guess I owe myself $50 as well bc I knew I couldn't fix it either. I can understand a trip fee, but it clearly says that it is for the estimate and will be used towards the repair. If they cannot make the repair you are just out of luck. (and 50 bucks)

    Gilbert with the Appliance Doctor was outstanding. He was able to diagnosis the problem quickly. He had to leave to get part and he took extra efforts to coordinate his return to suit my schedule. He was professional and very fair with the price. He will be the person I call in the future.     Gil called less than a minute after I requested ServiceMagic to help me locate a technician to fix my washing machine. He set up an appointment to come by that very afternoon, advised me of the service fee and when I pressed him for a telephone diagnosis, he listed three possible causes in order of expense. When he arrived, he did a quick but thorough inspection of the entire machine then began trouble shooting to find the cause. He quickly identified the problem (the least expensive of the three he had mentioned over the phone) provided a temporary fix and returned to install the proper part the next day. Great Service! I trust him!

    The night before, we came home & found water on the floor around our freezer/refrigerator. My husband is handy & was searching through repair books, He had removed the back & cleaned the bottom coils. I was searching "freezer not freezing" & "repair freezer" on the internet trying to help him. I just lucked out finding Servicemagic & Appliance Doctor. Gilbert called & said he could come over from 11 -1 p.m. He had the part to repair a thermostat . He said "Your husband wouldn't have been able to repair this." The problem was hidden behind a screen on the very bottom of the inside of the freezer. Amazing FAST service! Very satisfied!

    Wow!!!! Ya Appliance Doctor is honest quick and fair in price. I needed my refrigerator fixed and we looked around to compare prices and to see who can tell us what was really wrong with our fridge. Now company after companies told us what was wrong and than shoot us with a price. I started to think i should just buy a new fridge. But the only reason we called the appliance doctor back was because he actually got us behind the fridge showed us the part, told us why the part had failed on us, and told us what the purpose for the part. He gave us a price and to tell you the it was actually the lowest we had gotten. We are very happy with the work and will continue to use there service. And will gladly tell friends and family about them.

    He were very proffesional and did a great job, just seemed to charge a little more for the ice maker than I could find buying myself online everywhere I looked.

    7. Legal Search for Civil Judgments
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them.
    8. Liens Search
      We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them.
    9. Identity Verification (SSN)
      HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities.
    10. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup)
      We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
